screw the brits....

by ali123 (not verified) on

I wonder why the feel the are "great"???
they are in fact the least civilized country on earth....how many centuries have they colonized and raped other countries: india, s. africa, canada, australia, kenya, gulf countries, etc.......
wherever there is anything of value, the brits are there like flies on you know what. They are basically parasites on the butt of the earth....they know well that they can't survive on that little puny island with nothing but bad weather and teeth!
and when i comes to our dear homeland, we have had the misfortune of being the #1 target of the brits' keen sense of greed. once they found oil in khuzestan that was it....and the morons had the audacity to try to fight dr mossadegh who was simply saying iran's oil wealth belongs to its people, not a buncha thieves from a crappy little island. the brits are so greedy and evil that even after 50 years of raping iran, they still wanted more, and they couldn't let go....they finally got their wish in 79 when they brought the devil himself to ruin iran once and for all.....how much oil has BP sucked out of iran for free since 79?????? god only knows, but one thing is for certain- the evil lords at BP couldn't buy ARCO without iran's wealth!!!
daii jaan napelon was right!

The blow back

by Ajam (not verified) on

Indeed, this myopic approach has come back to bite the U.S. in the butt ever since it took over from the British Empire. They killed and toppled democratic leaders and democracies under the pretext of fighting communism and ushered in brutal SOBs who eventually turned out to be detrimental to their own interests! Some of these SOBs could not be easily discarded as the U.S. wished! When CIA plotted to kill Z.A. Bhuto and replace him with Zia Ol-Haq and his Islamic republic of Pakistan, they did not foresee the consequences as Taliban's emergence. Instant gratification has its price!

Blow back is a term used by the CIA to explain an operation that turns out to have an adverse effect. Here is an interesting clip in that regard:

I wish American governments

by farrad02 on

I wish American governments would start thinking a few steps ahead and understand the unintended conseqences of their immediate wants and desires and see what they end up bringing upon their future generations! Letting Iran go through her democratic development (growing pains), would have eventually led to whoever was in the power wanting to sell that oil. And because they didn't have enough knowledge of Ira's society, they didn't understand that Communism would have never had a real chance in Iran. So, fearing the SOviets, they destroyed Iran's fledgling democratic aspirations and the domino effect brought about the Ayatollahs take over in 1979!

and that

by Reza Khaneh Mir Five (not verified) on

and that was the time when the British told us (the Americans) that the only solution for Iranian oil conflict is introduction and support of Islamic underground movements leading to total submission by the Iranians within a decade or two!

Wow! They were right....!
