by ramintork on Thu Aug 27, 2009 05:03 AM PDTI should rent the DVDs from blockbuster and catch up.
I like the way she dances around, and then the taunt of being interrupted by the phone driving her lover mad. Nicely directed.
It is good to see TV breaking more taboos, but I guess being Lesbians it is welcomed by the Male Hetrosexual audience as well as the Lesbians, so they did their market research correctly.
Facinating

Sarah Shahi, best thing the Qajar dynasty ever had
by American Dream on Wed Aug 26, 2009 08:37 PM PDTFrom 1794-1925 the Qajar dynasty ruled Iran. Sarah Shahi, born Aahoo Jahansouz, She is a great-great-granddaughter of the 19th century Iranian king Fath Ali Shah Qajar.
In 131 years of history the Qajars did nothing for Iran. the most positive thing they did was have a descendant move to America marry a Spaniard and have a kid named Aahoo Jahansouz.
She is the best thing that has come out of that Qajar family. She isn't a bald dictator like Reza Khan and she doesn't have a big nose like Mohammad Reza Pahlavi.
And she is soft spoken, a breath of fresh air compared to Ayat'Allah Khomayni, Ayat'Allah Khamenei and Iranian President Ahmadinejad.
If one could erase more than 3000 years of Iranian identity and replace Iran's identity with the photograph of Ms. Aahoo we would have given the ugly face of Iranian culture a facelift.
I would vote for her as Iranian of the day any day.
She doesn't seem like an "axis of evil", she isn't a despot with a SAVAK secret police and she sure isn't some piss poor 3rd world country. God Bless her soul.
Gol-dust....
