Steven F. Hayward is a resident scholar at the American Enterprise Institute (www.aei.org) in Washington, D.C.

The American Enterprise Institute for Public Policy Research (AEI) is an extremely influential, pro-business, conservative think tank founded in 1943 by Lewis H. Brown.

Objective???  Steven F. Hayward is not objective.  Reading his stuff on President Carter is like reading Hitler's Mein Kampf for the history of Judaism.

2) Mission to Iran by William H Sullivan

I have read this.  Ambassador Sullivan saw the Shah losing power.  Ambassador Sullivan was for opening up talks with the Revolutionary participants in order to maintain American interests in Iran.  In no way was Ambassador Sullivan a supporter of Imam Khomayni.  Ambassador Sullivan tried to help the Shah.  The Shah was sinking and his regime was on its way out.

3) A century of war by Willian Engdahl

His first book was called "A Century of War: Anglo-American Oil Politics and the New World Order", and discusses the role of Zbigniew Brzezinski and George Ball and of the USA in the 1979 overthrow of the Shah of Iran,
which was meant to manipulate oil prices and to stop Soviet expansion.
Engdahl claims that Brzezinski and Ball used the Islamic Balkanization model proposed by Dr Bernard Lewis. In 2007, he completed "Seeds of Destruction: The Hidden Agenda of GMO".

Engdahl stated in 2007 that he had come to believe that petroleum is not produced from remains of prehistoric zooplankton and algae, which had settled to a sea or lake bottom in large quantities under anoxic conditions (the theory supported by physical evidence as well as the majority of petroleum geologists and engineers[3]).
Instead he now believes in the hypothesis that petroleum is produced
underground by unknown materials, conditions and forces deeper down in
the Earth's core. Engdahl calls himself an "ex peak oil believer", stating that peak oil is actually a political phenomenon.[4]

A nut job at most.  Engdahl is not objective.  Engdahl refers to Professor Bernard Lewis.  I know Bernard Lewis, his expertise is the Ottoman Empire, his book, Arabs in History, written ages ago was o.k.  I know for a fact that Bernard Lewis is a staunch Zionist.  After 9/11 Lewis became one of the people that was used as an expert by FOX News, the reactionary news channel.

4) Carter sold out IRAN by Chuck Morse

Chuck Morse is a conservative American journalist, author and radio talk show host from Boston, Massachusetts. Morse ran a write-in campaign against incumbent Barney Frank for the 2006 Massachusetts's 4th congressional district

Give me the author's name and the title of the book of the objective journalist that quoted President Carter of disdain of the Shah before the US hostage crisis or before the Iranian Revolution.

President Carter tried to save the Shah's monarchy by advising along with General Huyser (God rest his soul) and Ambassador William Sullivan to help strengthen the government of Iranian Prime Minister Bakhtiar.

Cite where and by which objective writer and historian that President Carter had ever said one positive thing about Ayat'Allah Ruh'Allah Moosavi Khomayni.  Imam Khomayni cost President Carter his re-election in 1980.  Ayat'Allah Khomayni was President Carter's worst nightmare.  What you write doesn't make sense.

The Shah, Prime Minister Bakhtiar, SAVAK, the Iranian Military and the Imperial Guards could not save the monarchy in Iran.

President Carter is a freedom fighter according to the Nobel Peace prize judges, that is not my opinion.

As far as Yasser Arafat is concerned the topic was President Carter.  Yasser Arafat was not the topic, issue, etc.

Anyhow, Israeli Prime Minister Rabin made peace with Arafat.  PM Rabin was an Israeli Military officer, he has more credibility than you.  That being said, I do not support Arafat, I am not Palestinian yet, you keep on bringing up this Palestinian issue.  If you like to continue please go to Palestinian.com

Firstly, the only people who agree with you are the voices in your head.

Secondly, do not make any assumptions as to whether or not "I like America". Do not make any assumptions at all.

Building houses for the poor, receiving a Nobel Prize....I'm not impressed one bit. There are many people who have built houses for the poor, clothed the poor and fed the poor, and they did not use their fame as a tool to promote their activity or draw attention to themselves and their deeds, and did not have a camera crew on hand to record the event as your hero has one on many occasions. 

And as far as your precious peace prize, being on the same list as Yasser Arafat scores absolutely zero points.

If you are of the mindset that Carter is some sort of freedom fighter, then so be it. Even people with as disturbed a mentality as yours is entitled to your thoughts.

Hopefully, with advances in medicine, your mental disease will be finally brought under control in the near future, until a cure can be found.

Kaveh Nouraee :It's nice to see that many people agree with me.  Not one person on this site agrees with you.  If you don't like America you should go back to where you came from and stop living off America.  President Carter was a freedom fighter.  He won the Nobel Peace prize and built homes for the poor.  President Carter helped the Shah so much...in 1979, the Shah was not even able to help himself.  President Carter even permitted the Shah to come to New York for medical treatment during the 444 day hostage crisis.  You are such an ungrateful person.  As I said before, if you don't like America you can go back to Iran and live with Ayat'Allah Seyed Ali Khamenei.

Another viscious treatment of mankind by EVIL I.R. This is another very sad and heart breaking document that sadly proves of how so many ignorant Iranians (especially our so called intellectuals) were following, supported and gave the ultimate power of a country and a nation to bunch of criminal psycho-paths in the name of Islam!!! To treat human beings/Iranians in such shameful and EVIL way???

There are many concpiracy theories of how these I.R. criminals were supported and installed in our poor beloved Motherland Iran. And there are undeniable facts, documents and proofs which can be written in many miles/kilometers on those...

Unfortunately, above all other reasons, there were simply way too many uneducated/ignorant Iranians back then. I am not a Shahi, but honestly Iranians (except fractions of them who were not united by any means) had no clue who they were, what they had, where they stood in life , what was right and what was wrong!!! Who's fault? That's another 1400 year story/sad history...

Thank God, Today Iranians have changed so dramatically , NOT because of I.R.'s positive contribution to them or mankind, but due to massive amount of suffering inflicted upon them by EVIL I.R. and their foreign collaborators... 

Moreover, Inevitable global modernity, technology, mass communication, media and etc. along with massive suffering woke Iranians up!!! Thank God, finally!

I.R.  and its supporters can do whatever they have to do in order to survive a bit longer with their EVIL and shameful lives, however, TIME IS NO LONGER on their sides and they know this so damn well...

In 1979 when over 30 million Iranians hit the streets of Iran and even went so far to take down the statues of the Shah and his father Reza Khan in Tehran even the army surrendered and accepted the Iranian Revolution.

It is nice that you live in the United States.  It is nice that you are offered food stamps, welfare and free medical assistance through the taxes I pay.

There are many in the United States that fled Iran in the late 1970s and were perpetually on government assisstance.  Shabaan Jafari, a staunch Shah supporter, who helped the Shah regain his throne in 1953, was one of the biggest recipients of welfare in southern California.
