Showers, Accents and Onions? Is that all you got? Is that all you think you know about Iranians and French?? Or are you in fact self projecting due to your own massive stupidity and insecurities? Unfortunately you are the one who is out of his/her mind and in fact is very insane and stupid by writing such an insulting and unleashing personal attacks on a PEACEFUL comment that was totally about something else and in fact was non of your business!

I was just speaking of my own personal intercultural experiences in Southern California with most people in general. I even mentioned before there are good and bad people everywhere and the fact I had come across many beautiful Americans and Non- Americans in the past 24 years living here in Southern California!

It is an undeniable worldly fact that a large number of American population have been deprived of proper information , news and education! (and in your case, apparently a proper up bringing as well...) So it is natural that they (including you) can not comprehend profound and complex People,Histories, Cultures, Civilizations and Arts from other parts of the globe, hence all the problems and clashes that America has been experiencing internally and around the world for so long as the result !!!

You are either a radical fanatic racist American or worse a Wanna be Psychopath with major identity crisis...

Your insults on me (as an Iranian) and French people on this very Peaceful Subject proved that... You can write all you want to further prove your ignorance. I am done with you!

You could not be more wrong. If you truly believe that the average American or European gives a damn about Iranians enough to go and "investigate" the difference between the Iranian "culture", history and the current regime, you are out of your mind. In their eyes you are what you are. So instead of demonizing yourself, or in this case IR, try to read and realize why we are where we are so you can be proud about Iran. After all, This is where Iran is and your denial is as foolish as your statement.

I do not agree that US is open to other cultures. It is open to immigrants but not to their cultures. Americans do not even bother to call you by your real name so you have to change it to Bob, or Pat or Jeff. They do not know anything about anything outside USA so you cannot discuss other cultures with them, so how are they "open" as you say?

No other country in the world is as open to other cultures as is America. One can judge that by the way the immigrants are assimilated and integrated in the society, so seamlessly.

I do not personally know what is wrong with you that you cannot make “genuine and equal exchanges” with American in LA. Maybe you do not shower as often as Americans, just like some French. Maybe you smell of onion, just like some French. Maybe you have unintelligible accent, just like some French. I got it. Maybe you are not genuinely equal for a “genuine and equal exchanges”. Look within you will find the problem.

PS: If you are looking for French haters look at the second generation immigrants in France.

French people like Iran and Iranians...

I have had many great examples of my own with French people... On many occasions I was received very well by French people once they knew I was Iranian when I visited and lived in France.

My Life partner she is French and I have had wonderful, genuine and equal exchanges with her family,friends and French people in general as well. Something that I have not been able to establish in the U.S. and with American people in Southern California after 24 years unfortunately!

There are always good and bad people every where in the world and God knows I have ran into many beautiful American people here too, but based on my own personal experience and most importantly, the way Iranian people, culture and Art has been respected and appreciated by French people on small and big stages, I would like to support the good French people and their artistic organizations Thank them for their beautiful culture, art and civilization in return.

In my humble opinion, French are truly one of the only parallel cultures to us in the West and we have so many similar cultural behaviors, sentiments and attitudes about life in general as people.

PS. I know there are some French haters here and that's OK too as you are entitled to your opinions and experiences with French people and culture but please let's not make this into a Political attacks based on our bad experiences with Islamic revolution, Khomeini and Etc.(That was French Government and Our previous and current Iranian government and Politicians are not any better...)
