The bridge was like a monument for my dad who helped build it, and the only reason that I decided to become a Bridge Engineer. My dad is gone, but I hope his monument stays there for a long time. Hopefully, they amintain it well. Probably it needs to be retrofiited.
I enjoyed all your photos! It was rather interesting to see one of the blonde ladies wearing a scarf then, when scarf wasn't mandatory like now. My dad would say that he respected the American ladies (KHEILI NAJEEB) since they always wore long skirt extending below their knees! Now I can clearly see what he was ttalking about.
