To emphasize that Khavarani’s works are a new experience in the world of painting, Boime classified Khavarani’s works as a new style, which he called “Abstract Romanticism.” Boime explains the new term in his book, “His [Khavarani’s] work rejuvenates and elevates the mind to that state of creative union in which the ego ceases to dictate, and consciousness merges with the universe of the beloved. Khavarani resurrects the romantic possibility that art can change the world by reaching out unstintingly to the heart and imagination of the individual spectator.”
