I'm not sure that Omid Hast  cartoons can be considered abstract. Now, Picasso that could be considered abstract but to be more exact it was a cubism style.

 I don't think anyone has a right to attack the cartoonist/author's personal life. I am sure you are familiar with the concept "Public and Private life". It is best to maintain your comments to his art/cartoon.

This is still the original Anon speaking. I'm glad that I managed to bring a smile or two to your face. I liked the way you described the scene depicted in your cartoon so elaborately. So, I thank you on behalf of the new Anon whom you barked at (poor guy!).

Now, I have a question if you don't get mad again. Assuming that we are looking at the scene in your cartoon from north toward south (since we are behind the family, and the family you said is Iranian and presumably are standing on the Iranian shores, and we know that Iran is positioned on the map north of the "PERSIAN" Gulf), then the American boat seems heading to the east since its front end is to the left. So, it appears that they are leaving the "PERSIAN" Gulf. Do you think that they are getting out for good? I sure hope so!

This is the original Anon but not the Anon who called your cartoon "garbage". In fact, that Anon also called one of my comments rubbish, but fortunately another Anon came to my defense and called the bad Anon jackass. I'm not sure who the good Anon was. Boy!, this place is becoming really confusing. Anyway, I like your cartoons but did like the way you confronted this poor new Anon.
