&lt;p&gt;The Iranian authorities must halt the execution of a 17-year old accused of killing an athlete known as “Iran’s strongest man”, Amnesty International said today.&lt;/p&gt;

after 6 years anxiously awaiting execution, Benyamin Rasouli has been&lt;br /&gt;
spared the death penalty and is now released.




Fifteen year old Benyamin was in a fight when allegedly&lt;br /&gt;
he accidentally killed his friend. He was initially convicted of murder&lt;br /&gt;
and sentenced to death through Branch 74 of the criminal court of&lt;br /&gt;

 <title>Two Juveniles facing the death penalty will be released in days </title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;According to Iranian lawyer Mohammad Mostafaei, Mostafa Naghdi and Amir Khaleghi  who were on death row, will be released &lt;br /&gt;
in the coming days. The victims families on these cases issued their consent and forgiveness.  &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The&lt;br /&gt;
victim&#039;s family in the case of Amir Khaleghi asked other families in&lt;br /&gt;
similar situations to take the path of forgiveness path, as peace&lt;br /&gt;
could never come out of revenge. &lt;br /&gt;
In Mostafa Naghdi&#039;s case,  blood&lt;br /&gt;
money &amp;quot;diyeh&amp;quot; had been collected through donations to help pay&lt;br /&gt;

 <title>Postponed Execution for Safar Angooti</title>

Many people gathered outside of the gates at Evin Prison in Tehran to pressure the family of the deceased to grant a stay of execution to Safar. This extra month will allow flexibility to try and negotiate a pardon.&lt;/p&gt;

 <description>&lt;p&gt;Since taking his post as the new Head of Judiciary, Ayatollah Larijani granted a stay of execution for Behnood Shojaei. As reported in Iranian &amp;quot;Parleman News&amp;quot;, defence lawyer Mohammad Mostafaei said that 7 people were scheduled to be executed but they all received stays of execution.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;He reported to ILNA that human rights activists, Mothers for Peace, and some good Samaritans visited the family of the deceased prior to the execution and pleaded for forgiveness.
