Khamenei's new mind

I remember when I was a student in Tehran, Khamenei once visited our university. On that they a lot of "chadori" girls (wearing the traditional chador) were brought to the university to attand Khamenei's talk. There were chadori girls in the university of course but as many as the ones brought that day. I then thought whom they want to fool? The university students as well as poeple watching the news on TV knew what was going on in the streets. This left only one possibility: "Agha" himself.

I don't know why Persians are so arrogant, merciless and chauvinistic. For example they, starting from China's Turkistan, attacked all the (Turkish) land they had in sight up till modern day Turkey. And that was how Aran became northern Azerbaijan .

I'd like to know what other people think and why. Here is my own opinion: Even though the IRI has done everything to harm Iranian people, has forced thousands to exile and has more or less destroyed Iran, a foreign invasion, no matter how precise and "tactical", would be against my sense of "territory" and national pride. I think we can learn something from Leonidas.

I also believe that such an attack by Israel, no matter how wellmeant can pave the way for an Arab invasion of Iran, this time a total invasion and not just a "tactical" one.

Statements coming from Iranian statesmen indicates that they somewhat and somehow like the current economical situation in Iran. I believe they have "soaped their bellies" that if a new war starts, or at least if the situation gets worse, they can use this pretext to exercise their power on people more freely just as they did during the Iran-Iraq war and had a lot of "fun" with it. This, given the direction that the (rest of the) world has been moving to, reminded of the following poem by Rumi:

US department of state removes Macbeth from the list of murderers

Secratary of state Hillary Clinton, addressing the congress, said that since Macbeth has not killed anybody in the last 400 years then he is not considered a murderer by the State Department anymore. She added that "From this very moment on Macbeth is one of us".

هنر گلشیفته فراهانی را دیدیم. غرض از مزاحمت اینکه میخواستم بگویم: ما بیشتر. افرادی که در تصویر میبینید یک از یک هنرمند ترند. البته همه میدانند که «بیسیک» ترین هنر هر زن بدن اوست و به خاطر تکیه به همین هنر خداداد بوده که تا قبل از دوران مدرن زنان کمتر از مردان به یادگیری دانش و هنر احتیاج داشته اند.
