فکر نمیکنم در دادگاه جمهوری اسلامی سؤالها زیاد متفاوت میبودند.

میگویند ”خودم کردم که لعنت بر خودم باد” و همچنین میگویند ”از ماست که بر ماست”. سی و سه سال بعد از انقلاب دیگر اینرا باید فهمیده باشیم. گویا اینطور نیست.

I decided to post this video here because I believe it was probably one of the most important interviews Parazit has done so far. This is the complete version of the talk with the two economists Bijan Kian and Mehrdad Emadi, who both highlight the amplitude of the plundering going on in the Islamic Republic; something that, in my opinion, hasn't been emphasized upon enough in light of all the murders and torture that have also taken place in our country lately.

A little while ago, I recorded a mix of pop/dance songs from the pre-1979 period for a long-time friend who was going to throw a party for our old mates in another city. These were songs that I used to play at our parties right before the revolution -- you know, songs we grew up with, sort of.

Except, to my surprise, the mix began getting shared on Facebook like crazy and has been listened to in its entirety more than three hundred times so far; which, for a private personal recording done in a hurry, isn't bad.

This is a fascinating photo essay and animation titled "Nasseredin Shah and his 84 wives". Not only does it give insight into the Qajar court at the time of Nasseredin Shah, it also provides a fairly good understanding of why things became how they are in our country, looking at it from an historic perspective at least. It also contains a rare view into Iranian mentality and culture matched by not many other documents.

Recommended to everyone!

این امکان وجود دارد که هر کدام از ما در مورد خانم ها اشتباه کنیم. بیشتر افراد جذب زیبایی هایی ظاهری شده و به سرعت گول می خورند. برخي با بوسیدن پای زنانی که به آنها مانند یک تکه آشغال نگاه می کنند، فقط خودشان را کوچک کرده اند. شاید وقت و هزینه های گزافی را صرف خانم هایی کنید که تنها قصد سوء استفاده از شما را دارند.

The March 18 Movement was born out of a tragedy. On this day in 2009, Omid Reza Mir Sayafi, Iranian blogger and journalist, died in Evin Prison in Tehran. The December before his death, he was sentenced to two and half years in prison for allegedly insulting religious leaders, and engaging in "propaganda" against the Islamic Republic of Iran. Omid Reza was the first blogger to die in prison and his death reveals that getting censored is far from the worst thing that can happen to a blogger.
