In my experience few mistake Persians for Arabs. When they do, it is only a reflection of their ignorance. In a related blog (which is not my topic) RG made a good point about Iranian Arabs and how disrespecting Arabs in general fuels separatism. It also fuels fire of divide and conquer.

I looked forward to Namjoo's performance since last year, almost to the date (http://iranian.com/main/blog/oktaby/mohsen-namjoos...). He did not disappoint. He never does; even if he did not reach my high expectation. Mohsen seemed different; Less tense, his mood lighter and a tad heavier. Soon we learned the reason. Namjoo told of his wedding a few months earlier and "love of my life" as he introduced his wife Bahareh Sabzevari.

Weeks leading to June 12, 2010 did not seem to bear any significant news or expectations. islamic regime had gotten lucky with distractions from the Iranian uprising. The flotilla incident and then UN resolution on nuclear issue. Kyrgyz clashes were also helpful. Over the past year the regime has, in its own estimate and propaganda, successfully suppressed and choked the movement.

Green is just a color. This is about freedom and normalcy for Iran. The presence of Iranian diaspora at this dark anniversary of the selection and another year of erteja' in Iran, more than anything shows our support and appreciation, specially to the young generation that still hopes to salvage a future and some sense of normalcy.

The picture you see is Gaza. How many cities in Iran look as nice and plush? But that is not the image everyone in the world sees.

The day I see palestinians protest for HR of Iranians or any other people; I'll start caring about them. IRR supporters in the guise of HR tow the line palestinian cause and beat their chest have no problem supporting the criminal regime in Tehran, are having a field day with the convoy incident.
