This particular painting is a rare example of erotic art in Safavid period in which the woman is pictured in a more exposed fashion than her male lover.

Coffee-House Painting - Rustam and Sohrab

Painting
Qajar Era, Iran
Style: Coffee-House
Artist: Hossein Gholer Aghasi

Coffee-House Painting is a form of Narrative Painting and Painting Recitation which originated in Iran during late Qajar era. The themes of such paintings are usually epic or religious. Comparing to European style painting, this style lacks sophistication in the development of its figures.

Fethaly Chah Emperor of the Persians

http://muslimpersia.blogspot.com/2012/10/fethaly-c...
This is clearly a portrait of Fath Ali Shah of Qajar, which is seen seated on a throne, wearing a crown, jewelled clothing and a sword. Apparently, Europeans mispronounced his name at the time calling him Fethaly Chamor Fethaly Chah. It seems this portrait is an English copy of an earlier French version calledFethaly Chah Empereur des Persans which can be seen on the second external link seen above.

نقاشی اروتیک عهد مغولان هند به زبان فارسی

Persian was the official language of the Mughal court; as a result, the script on this painting is written in Persian. The erotic theme of this painting is perhaps influenced by Kama Sutra (Sanskrit: कामसूत्र pronunciation Kāmasūtra) which is an ancient Indian Hindu text widely considered to be the standard work on human sexual behavior in Sanskrit literature written by Vātsyāyana. A portion of the work consists of practical advice on sexual intercourse.

Illuminated Erotic Album Page

http://muslimpersia.blogspot.com/2012/09/qajar-ill...

This artwork seems to belong to either later Qajar period or early Pahlavi period. These illustrations were not originally part the Persian visual arts. Such scenes were obviously adopted from Indian Kama Sutra illustrations as Iranian became familiar with these forms when they had more direct cultural interactions with Mughal Empire.
