 <title>What a difference a date makes: 1979 vs 2009</title>

 <description>&lt;p&gt;I recently discovered letters I sent home to Ohio when I taught at Isfahan University during the Islamic Revolution. I&#039;ve been reading them, and noting the very disturbing similarity between what was happening then, and what is happening now. (I&#039;m posting them on my &amp;quot;Blogistan&amp;quot;: karimadianealaviblog.com ) But- due to frequent postal worker strikes, my letters often took an entire month to reach my parents in Ohio.
