For the record, let me first reiterate that I found the presidential debates preceding the Iranian election to be a most fruitful phase in Iran's democracy; a fantastic evolutionary phase of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. It was one of the most important factors which brought up a historic number of Iranians into their country's political arena, which resulted in one of the most impressive mass participations in the election.

The Iranian election this year turned out to be a hot item both inside Iran, and for Iranians living abroad. On this site, we have heard many arguments from people who claim voting is a waste of time. We heard every reason why they wouldn't vote except laziness and a general apathy, and the simple explanation that nagging behind the computer is easier than riding your car to a polling station.

Obama has not started yet, but already there is a lot of pressure from AIPAC-intimidated Congress, and Zionist media, to keep Lieberman as the Chairman of Homeland Security. For 30 years US has been trying to tame Iran, and setting Iraq against Iran has been central to that policy. The new Status Of Security Pact (SOFA) is the latest attempt by US to force Iran and Iraq accept US hegemony in the region. Iran's reaction to continuous US threats of nuclear attack (which SOFA will give it a launch pad), obliteration and sanctions has been clear. Iran will not forgo of its rights and will continue its 30 year long resistance to US bullying.
