Ahmadinejad's excessive mud slinging

For the record, let me first reiterate that I found the presidential debates preceding the Iranian election to be a most fruitful phase in Iran's democracy; a fantastic evolutionary phase of the Islamic Revolution of Iran. It was one of the most important factors which brought up a historic number of Iranians into their country's political arena, which resulted in one of the most impressive mass participations in the election.

Iranian Democracy and Islamic Revolution

Ali Lakani provided a great link of Hadi Ghafari's speech against Khamenei in the following news link:

http://iranian.com/main/news/2009/06/27-2

The speech is fantastic except that Mr. Ghafaris arguments are standing on its head:

Iranians WON BIG!!

The Iranian people by their massive presence in the election won on many fronts:

1. Internationally, no aggressor can now dream about an Iran attack when millions of brave Iranians showed their solidarity by standing behind a leader who defended their rights. No dreamer can now hope for a division of Iranian people, or hope to create a wedge between people and their overwhelmingly elected government.

VOTE. It is made easy for all!

The Iranian election this year turned out to be a hot item both inside Iran, and for Iranians living abroad. On this site, we have heard many arguments from people who claim voting is a waste of time. We heard every reason why they wouldn't vote except laziness and a general apathy, and the simple explanation that nagging behind the computer is easier than riding your car to a polling station.

Alternative Iran Policy Advice to Obama

I just watched Iran Debate link on Iranian.com now, and noticed that bunch of people with failed past policy advice are giving each other the illusion of importance! It is good to know that Obama gets and is willing to listen to other ideas, some like the following, which are good for the US. Hopefully he will act reasonably within his power.

Israeli fifth column acting against US interest

Freeman has endorsed The University of Chicago and Harvard paper by Mearsheimer and Walt, "The Israel Lobby and US Foriegn Policy," and that has caused the Israeli lobby to put all its efforts to kill his nomination. One more time, the shameless Israeli-firsts like Schumer proudly undermine the security and interest of America for their own Israeli agenda. Those who think Obama is not working hard to change the business as usual, should consider what a tireless effort he has made in a mere month.

Say NO to JOE Lieberman!

Obama has not started yet, but already there is a lot of pressure from AIPAC-intimidated Congress, and Zionist media, to keep Lieberman as the Chairman of Homeland Security. It is being argued that Obama would be abusing his executive powers if he showed any displeasure with Lieberman keeping the chair position.

A significant majority of American people sent Obama to office with a mandate to change! They should continue to remind the Congress that they would not like to see politics as usual, in particular in the most disturbing case of Joe Lieberman!

The Great Color-Blind America!

Recently, A A Parsa wrote an article, "war on Ignorance," reminding us of America's great revolutionary past, what it stood for, and the recent "un-American" turn it has taken. Ali wondered if the spirit of "We, The People" could reclaim the ideals of revolutionary America.

As the US financial house of cards falls down everyone is trying to point to a single scapegoat. And, everything is named as a culprit, except for the wasteful war, American militarism, a system of government which is built to serve the interest of wall street crooks and the military-industrial complex which benefits from the most wasteful product of an economy, the war.

Discoloration of US-Soros Revolutions

Following the disintegration of the Soviet Union, there were many "Color Revolutions" in Central and Eastern Europe and Central Asia. The lure of oil and gas in the Caspian basin and a pipeline policy to control the world's energy, prompted US into installing puppet governments and US bases all around these unstable areas.

SOFA - Iran and Iraq

For 30 years US has been trying to tame Iran, and setting Iraq against Iran has been central to that policy. The new Status Of Security Pact (SOFA) is the latest attempt by US to force Iran and Iraq accept US hegemony in the region. Iran's reaction to continuous US threats of nuclear attack (which SOFA will give it a launch pad), obliteration and sanctions has been clear. Iran will not forgo of its rights and will continue its 30 year long resistance to US bullying.
