I just want to say that I'm proud of Iran for offering to help the USA during the oil disaster that is currently destroying the coast economy and soon, national economy of America. I'm not sure what Iran could do, considering these billion dollar welfare companies can't clean up their own messes, but I still appreciate it.

As usual, Israel doesn't offer to lift a finger OR refuse the illegal welfare money the US tax payers must shell out each year.

Congressman Ron Paul speaks common sense about the sanctions bill.

He is right and I encourage all of you to listen to what he says. In particular, a trade war with Russia and China is very stupid right now (or always!).

If the US says that anyone who imports goods to Iran will not be a trading partner, that can only mean one thing. War.

Don't be fooled by people who say sanctions are not the same as war. They are one and the same.

I love beer. I don't drink a lot, but when I do, I love beer. Beer doesn't have any nutritional value and it doesn't provide any health benefits, but it is delicious and the buzz you get from it is so much more comfortable than wine. Does it make you sleepy? Yes. But you don't pass out like you do from wine.

The agribusiness conglomerates fought to stop food labelling for many years, especially country of origin labelling for produce (yes some countries use toxic chemicals (DDT anyone?) to give us those out of season fruits). When you go to buy your plants for Meatless Monday, read the labels carefully.

When you do decide to opt for meat, go for grass-fed. Or do a grass-fed Monday. A small change can really add up and decrease your risk to food poisoning.

These days everyone is trying to sell gold and silver. Aside from gold, what is the best investment (I know gold is not an actual currency)? Where are we supposed to be putting our money these days? Is there any stable currency left in the world?

Europe is on fire, the United States is China's toilet, and the Middle East is basically a playground that you'd better not take seriously. Yesterday I read that the IMF is begging for a new world reserve currency. Move over dollar!

I have an idea for anyone who is in charge of this site. Consider doing some sort of writing contest. I suggest a contest that lets the community explore conspiracy theories. They do not have to be limited to Iranian conspiracies. For example: The JFK Assassination. Q wrote a very funny piece on Lyndon LaRouche not long ago, and it got a lot of reads.

Please consider a contest. I suggest a conspiracy themed contest. We have so many. Let's make a record of them. We all know why Khomeini was really brought to power...

Last week, a US court threw out a case against Blackwater Worldwide, a (no-bid) contract security paramilitary group. It was a major case because of the charges of murder and recklessness and because of its symbolic value to justice thirsty Iraqis.

I think what upsets me about this case is the reason it was thrown: technicalities associated with how the prosecutors investigated the case witnesses.

I do think it's great that Iranians of all stripes are getting involved in the protests abroad. What has been disappointing is observing Darius Kadivar and others who are rushing to promote Reza Pahlavi, at a time when people who are putting their asses on the line deserve support and attention much more. Why are you promoting his videos at a time when the relevant videos are coming out of Iran, NOT THE National Self-Promoting Club in Washington, DC?
