Israeli Army T-shirts

I think Israelis and their supporters are losing their minds. Decades of using violence has not silenced their resistors, and the pressure is driving them mad. The only way they can go on on the same path is to keep dehumanizing their enemies more and more. This is the low they have reached these days when they attacked families in Gaza, or "Operation Dead Cast". It's truly sickening. I found out about this in another blog.

Mesmerized by this photograph

Is it just me or is this photograph something really special? Gorgeous woman, wonderful pose, great lighting- the hands, the eyebrows, the angle of the head, the sipping of the champagne with elegant abandon, the fingers bent against tabletop, the hair, the curves, the stance, everything is beautiful about this photograph.

It was here in iranian.com just a couple of days ago in the singles promo.

This is like an icon of a modern Iranian woman. I just love it! Who is she? who took the picture?

Last time Cyrus was honored

Somehow I found my way listening to Hayedeh songs on youtube this weekend. It's Saturday. I've earned this pleasure to scour the web and spend some time with my distant beloved- Iran.

As I played http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHRcWGDCqvg&feature..., a powerful image gripped me at around the 1:37 minute mark. It was Cyrus' tomb surrounded by uniformed soldiers of the Persian king, Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, in full formal formation, with dignataries present and Iranian flags flying high all around. It's a powerful image to behold.

Iranians! STOP Stealing other people's work!

Someone has ripped-off DVD of "Iran: Seven Faces of a Civilization" by Dr. Rezaeian and posted it on the internet. What's worse, he is apparently well meaning and thinks he has done Iran a favor. And, judging from the comments, everyone else is also proud to send the link to others to enjoy. Shameful!
