Ali Vakili Rad needs to be affraid of IRI the most

by MM on

From what I understand, Ali Vakili Rad confessed in the French court to being an Iranian agent ordered by IRI to kill Bakhtiar.  As such, IRI will have to silence him for ever so that nothing like memoires or any more documentaries on IRI's assasination plots come out in the open, with this murderer in the news highlights.

So, in addition to Shahpour Bakhtiar and Soroush Katibeh's friends/family, he needs to be worried about IRI too.  If w/ IRI, I see an accident in his future.  I saw the picture of Ali Vakili Rad being greeted in the Khomeini airport with a Lei around his neck.  He had a look of concern instead of happiness.

azarin, he started regretting being released as soon as he saw his wife in the airport.  she's more modest than ahmadi's wif.  you can only see the tippy tip of her nose from under the chador.

the french once again showed their fortitude by releasing a murderer, iran's weapons buyer and $285,000 for the release of a french citizen accused of e-mailing photos of demonstrations (the crime that hundreds of thousands of iranians committed!).  and i thought maziar bahari paid too much by bailing out on $300,000 bond.

Soon, he's going to regret his own freedom...

by Azarin Sadegh on

Dear Darius, Thank you so much for this blog...even if I feel so so angry after reading it!

But I guess I shouldn't be surprised! Hasn't the IRI done the same atrocities in the last 31 years? Haven't they killed so many other great men and women of Iran, in Evin, or anywhere else in the world?

I was in France when they killed Bakhtiar, and also many other people. No, I'm not shocked that they welcome the murderer as a hero.

But I'm sure, the life of this man, this assassin, is not going to be a better life, compared to the comfort of his cell in  a French prison.

From now on, he is going to have nightmares. He's going to be scared of every shadow, every noise, every set of eyes who's watching him. He's going to fall into paranoia. He's going to picture himself being cut in pieces by those who know what he has done.

This life, his life, starting today is not a life! It is more like a horror movie.

Soon he's going to regret his own freedom...I'm almost sure!

Thanks again Darius aziz for writing the best blogs on IC! Azarin

It is not a surprise that their hero is a murderer.  Very sad day for Iran indeed.

Dialogue of murder
A cautionary tale that must not be forgotten.

January 26, 2003
The Iranian

Iran's clerical regime, which the European Union has unwittingly appeased for decades, continues to claim unashamedly that it does not condone, much less support terrorism. And yet, the testimony and documentary evidence including annual reports by the United Nations, the U.S Department of State, and other concerned bodies, human rights groups, and the world press have established beyond any doubt that the leadership of the Islamic Republic has throughout the past 23 years authorised, sponsored, and directed acts terror around the globe including the liquidation of over 120 Iranian dissidents in their chosen countries of exile by assassins dispatched from Tehran. It is a cautionary tale that must not be forgotten.

Read the link you'd provided, "Dialogue of murder" by CK, in your other blog. Chilling !

Sadly, it reminded me of the assassinations of Croatian exiles carried out by the Yugoslav secret police in the 1970s. The last hit 'n' run, 1978, had taken place in Paris of all places.

Indeed, "a cautionary tale that must not be forgotten".

Once again IRI delivers fatal blow to its anti- IRI prunes

by i_support_khamenie on

So all these hate mongers were sitting around waiting for Mr Rad to declare once on Iranian territory that he was proud of killing Bakhtiyar....

only to be surprised that he is still declaring his innocence...

such a let down...

another IRI smackdown.........

i'm loving it.....

by humanbeing on

what an infuriating outcome. let's hope that the charisma of binoche and the attention her tears draw on the one hand, and the hoopla of the 'hero's welcome' and the reactions and reiteration of bakhtiar's story on the other, bring up the agenda of a free iran into the hearts of people who have forgotten, are too young, or would otherwise not be so aware.

A hero's welcome for a murderer

by Shifteh Ansari on

How else can the Islamic Republic better say that it is a supporter of terrorism?  Bakhtiar's murderer gets a hero's welcome in Tehran, complete with government officials, shirini, and the press.  This is a disgusting and shameful day in the life of Iranians worldwide.
