It is possible to setup VPN servers on a regular PC but PCs are power hungry and keeping them on all the time is bad both for environment and your pocket. Another way is to buy an expensive router with built in support for VPN, but these routers usually cost start from 100-200$ so most of us do not afford them. So what is the solution you may ask? Well there is a speciall open source router firmware called dd-wrt. It fits many of the routers out there and it does also support VPN. These routers usually start from 50$ and are more affordable.

Listening to news today I heard about Abbas Palizad being set free till next verdict by paying a bill. Abbas Palizad has used state secrets to point out high officials that used their status to illegally getting financial and political gains. Other people that had revealed state secrets were given heavy sentences before, so even allowing this to go to a second trial and Mr Palizad get out of jail during the time is astonishing and might be an evidence that powerful people are indeed behind mr Palizad.

This company decided to stop coworking with these butchers or it seems so. Now some of them have moved to parsian.com and parsian.com is Iran based, but these papers IP number remains in US still, so they have american host helping them. Watching with geotool found this page that shows how an american company is helping these scums.

From the information I would say that this american company is phony and that theplanet is still on the receiving end of Ahmadinejad money.

Doing a whois on kayhannews.ir you get information that it is hosted by theplanet.com that is a company in houston texas.

The only name that comes up when doing whois is Ashkan Mohammadi.

Contact in whois is only emails to theplanet.

Iranians in US and especially call this company in Houston to stop this piece of Propaganda from beingpublished by American help.

Was It right to vote?

If you read one of my earlier articles (To vote or not to vote) you would have figured out that I would vote, and so I did like approximately 42 million iranians (as statistics would tell you). When casting my vote I heared a group of political activists outside that shouted slogans against IRI. They were not part of the MKO because I saw them earlier, they were in front of the Iraqi embassy like every day these days trying to convince the Iraqi government not to throw out their sisters and brothers from Camp Ashraf.

I remember watching a movie (Darius help me here to remember the name) about a TV presenter that because of stress and personal problems became psychological unstable so during a live broadcast he started ranting that "I cannot take it anymore". The TV executives wanted to fire the guy in beginning, but the viewers saw the sincerity in the guys screaming and decided to join in so they started to scream out as well to let off their despair and personal problems. The "tv star" now had his own fan base.

The movie plot is similar to his old comedies like liar liar where the main character has to improve himself by changing his attitude. So in this movie he instead of rejecting all the opportunities he starts to embrace them by saying yes. One of the opportunities is a spam he is constantly getting from persianwomendating.com (or something similar). When he accepts it then is set up on a date with a strange looking woman in unusual scarf even for Hizbollahis with a slightly arabic accent.

I think it is time to make a better Iranian.com, the one that we have today although is very fine indeed and has served us well in the pas but is also full of shortcomings. The following is what I think should be fixed or added to make this site even better.
