Garage Cabinets Create Great Storage Solution

We had a storage problem. Garage cabinets were the solution. You see, even though Iranian.com is chiefly a community resource, it is also a business, and a business has to keep records. And even though it's a small business, the records of years and years of content becomes voluminous.

What was the solution? We tried scanning. After all, bits don't take up much space. But I worried that we would need the original if we ever got called upon to "prove" anything.

Iranian.com Gets A New Look

A quick history: Last September, Iranian.com upgraded from a manually crafted set of pages to a modern content management system that supported community / comment features. It was a big step forward, but it left a few issues.

First, it left a lot a screen space vacant. This format uses the more modern, wider screen. That should make it easier to view things.

We kept the three columns, but made them wider. That should make for easier reading.

Help Wanted - Create Ads for Iranian.com

As business manager I work with many advertisers who are relatively new to online advertising. Many of them want help in creating their banner ads.

I'm putting together a list of people from within the community who are graphical artists, advertising advisors, "creative" people (who create ads), and the like. Basically, if you can help our advertisers put smart, effective ads online, I want to introduce you!

There are 18 regions defined for Iranian.com, 4 of which are in Europe, 10 in North America and the balance worldwide. Willis is recruiting one "Rep" for each region.
