اشکها جاری میشوند و گرچه بعد از مدتی خشک میشوند و شسته میشوند زخمی بر روی صورت به جای میگذراند. زخمی که با تکرار اشک ریختنها آنقدر کهنه و عمیق میشود که کم کم به استخوان میرسد. آنوقت است که در واقع نتیجه دیوانگیست! دیوانه وار به در و دیوار میزند. زمین و زمان را به آتش میکشد تا اینکه هستی را نابود کند.

This is getting old. We lose to South Korea 1-0 in extra time. Once again, they knock us out of the Cup in quarter-finals.

Pomegranate

I came across this video describing the wrong way to open a pomegranate. My grandmothers would be turning in their graves if they saw this. She destroys the poor fruit making it bleed, then puts it in the water to get the arils. I was horrified. What are you doing to our national fruit woman? You're killing it.

It could have happened exactly at Saal Tahveel. There was nothing dirty about it. I walked in the room and there she was looking all sad. She was wearing a grayish sun dress. I told her I am having a bad eid too. So I started giving her little pecks on her lips and started kissing her. She kissed me back, saying: "the least you could have done was to brush your teeth before kissing me." I can still feel the full sensation of her lips and tongue. Best eidee ever!

I was rooting for her. Didn't like the storyline very much, but it was her story and for anyone who lived through those years and left Iran in the 80's, it meant a great deal. Both scenes when she was leaving Iran were heartbreaking. Tears just started rolling down.
