این فیلم اثر یک فیلمساز فرانسوی به نام آلبرت لاموریس است كه در سال ۱۹۷۰ تكمیل شد. وی در یک سانحه هلی كوپتر در سد كرج كشته شد. فیلم كه نامش باد صبا است هیچ وقت در ایران به روی اكران نرفت. وزارت فرهنگ و هنر آن زمان در ساختن این فیلم لاموریس را پشتیبانی كرد.

Hamed Haddadi, the first Iranian-American basketball player in the NBA, (playing Center for the Memphis Grizzlies) will be playing against the Warriors. In honor of his visit to the Bay Area, Farshid Amini will sing the national anthem, and the half-time show will feature a persian dance performance by Niosha Dance Academy.

This Wednesday Nov. 4th the only Iranian player in NBA, Hamed Haddadi is playing with his team Warriors in the Bay Area. The game is at 7:30 PM in Oracle Arena (Oakland).

The other day I was watching one of the Star Trek Enterprise "The Next Generation" episodes (episode: Time Squared); Yes I was preparing myself for the upcoming new Star Trek Movie; In one scene, Commander Riker (Number One) asked Capt. Picard: “Is this your Persian Flaw?”

In Autumn 1942, the SS concentration camp in Sachsenhausen setup a secret print shop. Main and most successful enterprises in the counterfeiting workshop was the production of counterfeit English banknotes and stamps. One of the stamps that they did counterfeit is very interesting, since it is about the allies meeting in Tehran in 1943.

كسانى كه در خيابان ناصرخسرو تهران از برابر مدرسه دارالفنون مى گذرند، تابلو نوشته اى را مى بينند كه از تبديل دارالفنون به گنجينه (موزه) و مركز اسناد آموزش و پرورش خبر مى دهد. اما خوشحالى آن ها از اين بشارت فرخنده تا وقتى دوام مى آورد كه ندانند اين تابلو هشت، نه سال است كنار دارالفنون جاخوش كرده و يك جاى كار مى لنگد.
