در صحنه ميز و صندلي است و کتابخانه اي در کنار آن، و مردي که کتاب در دست دارد و ميخواند و پيداست که از آنچه ميخواند بسيار متحير و متعجب است . صداي زني مي آيد که با فرياد مي گويد:

زن: عزيزم بسه ديگه اون چراغ را خاموش کن بيا بخواب.

مرد: هيس داد نزن، دارم مطالعه مي کنم.

زن: چه مطالعه اي، تا کي ميخواي منو عذاب بدي و شبها نذاري بخوابم؟

چرا مردم این عقاید رو هنوز باور دارند؟
