It is a while that I have not been able to login to my account at the Iranian.com by using my password, old or newly set. Am I the only one to have this problem?

I like those paintings which their ideas come to me when I am not thinking about art or planning to paint something to make a statement. One of these paintings, and my favourite, is called “Palestinian Graffiti Takes a Flight”, and I would like to share it with you.

It is my habit to sing, while I am working. Sometimes, my songs are made of words that have no reference to any particular song; rather, they are unconsciously and haphazardly improvised.

As an artist, not a politician or a social scientist, I can only visualise, imagine, feel, dream, wish and hope. And of course, I try to demonstrate all or some of these in my paintings. If they don’t reflect my meaning, my writing won’t do it either. I hope to see women at the top; we men have failed.

Armed conflicts have ruined the lives of millions of people, and global warming threatens to destroy life on earth. However, we are witnessing an emergence of global consciousness concerning the need for a solution to these catastrophic human created phenomena. This initial wave of awareness, together with a faith in human ingenuity, has brought us some hope. To be effective, I believe, this human consciousness should be extended enough to bring children into focus, and embrace them as being our own “future”.

I am not going to initiate here a discussion over the facts that adverse Western media propaganda has facilitated distorted public perception of Iran and Iranian. I am happy, I am sad, a grumpy but, funny old man. I am here, there, everywhere, and nowhere. I am Iranian Australia, made in China or Mongolia; from India, Greece, Egypt or Libya. I am what I am. I am kind, with a vicious mind; sweet in front, bitter behind.I am what I am.

Glimpse of Hope

Under the sun, through the night;

With a load of memories, a taste of happiness, a glimpse of hope;

I trekked the lands, cross the oceans, wandered through the time, through the space.

I searched into the past, reflected upon this, and wondered about that.

Why? What? How?

I don’t know.

That glimpse of hope urged me to go.
