In the blog, Behnam Zare was executed without prior notice, we learned of yet another young Iranian executed for a crime he allegedly committed when he was fifteen years old. What made this execution particularly sickening was the fact that neither his lawyer nor his parents were notified prior to his execution.

If I had a nickel for every time I’ve read on this site someone in our community complaining about how racist and bigoted Americans are toward Iranians, I’d be a very rich guy. We get so worked up about how hateful or insensitive others can be toward us, and we are able to clearly see their faults of character while we can rarely see the very same faults within ourselves.

Those who attended the iranian.com dinner and concert on April 19th in San Francisco were the lucky few. Most readers, writers and contributors to the magazine simply live too far away to have participated. This is one of the most beautiful aspects of iranian.com though. Although its readers, writers and contributors live all over the world, they are part of a community, the iranian.com community.

This is written in response to your touching "My Generation." Unlike some of the posters who originally replied to your article, I shan't engage in Monday morning quarterbacking. I don't wish to blame your (and my mother's) generation for the revolution that brought to power the deadliest enemy faced by our people in over a thousand years.
