Great News for the PMOI, and Terrible News for the Terrorist Regime

Winners: the PMOI.

Losers: VF regime, NIAC

I congratulate the PMOI for this great victory. I thank Secretary of State Clinton for making the correct decision.

On the Lawsuit “Trita Parsi and NIAC v. Hassan Daieoleslam.”

1. I read the Court’s decision. The decision is very well written. The judge clearly defines the legal terms and clearly explains the standards for evidence. I highly recommend to all our readers to read the decision for themselves. You should be able to understand the decision. The whole thing is only 23 pages. It would take only a few hours to carefully read it.

It is a truly wonderful lesson in civics. You do not have to take my words. Simply, please read the decision and reach YOUR OWN decision.

For Ali P: Khomeini, the Shah, and Sanjabi

Dear Ali,

As you may know, I have great respect for you. You are a thoughtful person. Therefore, after I saw your comments addressed to me, I listened to Khomeini’s speech.

I. First and foremost, as you may know in 1350 (circa 1972), the internet did not exist for the world. Needless to say, neither YouTube. So, it is safe to assume that the late Dr. Sanjabi did not access to this speech.

Analyzing the Vulgar Insults and Attacks on Pro-Mossadegh Forces by Fred

I am posting my comments on two of Fred’s blog on my own blog.

The vulgar insults toward Dr. Sanjabi and Mr. Bazargan are alien to the pro-democracy movement and JM/INF. Sanjabi was the Minister of Education in Mossadegh’s cabinet and was chosen by Mossadegh to be the Iranian Judge at the International Court of Justice for the Anglo-Iranian Oil Company case. Sanjabi was one of the closest advisers and friends of Mossadegh. The notion that someone like Fred could possibly know what Mossadegh would do and Sanjabi would not is a sad joke.

On the Role of Jebhe Melli During the 1977-79 Revolution

Introduction

There is little dispute on objectively what JM did during 1949 to the present, including 1977-1981. JM is an above-ground, open, organization. JM has regularly published its positions. However, there is great debate on evaluation of whether this or that JM policy was positive or negative. In normative judgments (as we say in political science) where one stands depends on where one sits. I do not think that one can use logical arguments and evidence to change the minds of extremist monarchists and fundamentalists.

A Brief Critique of Soroush (and Najafi)

1. Dr. Soroush condemns Najafi for disrespecting religious values (of Shias).

Reza Pahlavi, American Invasion of Iran, and Federalism: A Critique of Dr. Ramin Kamran’s Article

Professor Ramin Kamran is one of Iran’s very top pro-democracy intellectuals. I have great respect for his intellect, great knowledge of our history, sophisticated political analyses, and his consistent struggle for democracy. I agree with at least 90% of what I have read of his articles.

Monarchy and the Prospects of Democracy in Iran: A Critique of Mr. Nooriala Article

Mr. Nooriala makes a large number of serious errors in his article. It is obvious that Mr. Nooriala is a not a political scientist and does not have any professional education in the theories of democracy, democratic transition, democratization, democratic consolidation, constitutional design, political culture, and the like. He is also not a historian and lacks the expertise in that area. Apparently, Mr. Nooriala is a poet. In this article, I present some of the political science theories to help Iranian political activists in their struggles.

War or Revolution (the only 2 Actual Options)

The terrorist regime wants to have nukes. The U.S. will not accept the terrorist regime from having nukes. The terrorist regime will NOT negotiate away its clandestine nuke program. Actually, the terrorist regime does taghieyh and lies about even having a nuke program.
