just 4 u but It all started with just a bit of fooling around & look where it got us now. & this is not dude's 1st time. Ignorance invites ignorance & if it involves kiaan it involves me . The first yr I was here there were daily posts bashing kiaani heritage & you couldn,t even spell out "Iran" or "kiaan"in full before him at times & his like minded self righteous ilk  lynched you with words such as "racist", "bigot"..lalalal. Its only thru my persistance & post-june events that they have backed off for a while. They express theirs & I do mine & I like to keep it that way ;).

Cheers pal!!!

Herodotus also remarks that; Persians train their boys from ages five to twenty in archery horsemanship and " truth telling" .  "Truth Telling"! what an odd concept for IRR.

Tokhmeh Qadess looking to buy legitimacy

by SamSamIIII on

for their Arabo ommatie based cultural lineage be it in a negative & subtle way ;) since any association between these foreigners & Kiaan is a form of acknowledgment to their non-existant Iranian roots. Calling their ommatie traites as that of a natural evolution of ancient Iran in the person of a mullah following footsteps of Darius the great does just that. But what the Ommatie propagandists miss in the process is that an icon of kiaan such as Cyrus(pbuh) or Darius or Khosrus are totaly different specie & in complete contrast to Ommaties sacred icons such as a mullah or a foreign shaikh. There are no similarities either in ;  character,psyche,cultural beckground ,spirituality ,ethnicity, principles, traditions, language or even names to make a common bond or lineage bwtween the two.

1-For one, An Ommatie encourages & propogates lies & deciet in the form of "taghieh" yet King Darius I writes in Bistun;" Oh lord keep our land free from lie & deceit(Darujje).

2-For two, An Ommatie would kill, lie, oppress and weesle his way out at any cost to get to power yet Darius says;

 Darius the King says: If you shall think thus, Oh Lord ,"May I not feel fear of (any) other or force injustice to the righteous," protect this Persian people; if the Persian people shall be protected, thereafter for the longest while happiness unbroken in this land of the free dwellers--I,m not a follower of the lie, will not force the weak to follow the powerfull, nor choose men around me who do wrong to the weak or enslave the free. What is right, that is my desire. I am not a friend to the man who is a Lie-follower. According to righteousness I conducted myself to do Neither wrong to the weak nor to the powerful . I am not hot-tempered. What things develop in my anger, I hold firmly under control by my spirit and will of Ahurmazda. I am firmly ruling over my own impulses. O menial, let injustice not be made (to seem) false to you. That do you behold, which [has been inscribed]... Let not [anyone] be untrained [in obedience]. [O menial], let not the king feel himself too powerfull to inflict punishment on the the subjects dwellers in the land. Oh lord guide me as not to join the corrupt in actions & spirit]. ...May the dwelers in Persia & Media and others of this great land be happy when alive and blessed when dead...Oh Ahurmazda surrond me with the wise and righteous who will help me in my judgment, who shall not lie or follower of wrong.

Now who is the distortionist. next time choose one of your ommatie sultans such as Saffi ali shah for your Dinaar coin.

by hamsade ghadimi on

onlyiran,

thanks for the info.  now, it's more apparent why the subject has been trivialized.

irandudeeee,

you're not far off the mark.  before the revolution, i used to hear that pepsi is owned by bahais (by habib sabaet?).  it didn't stop me from drinking it but i'm sure that the fatwa against drinking it at the time had some effect on certain consumers.  you can find an old article (2001) regarding coke and pepsi wars in iran:

//bahai-library.com/newspapers/021601.html

Iraniandudeee

Pepsi = Zionist plot

by Iraniandudeee on

Islamists believe that by buying pepsi somehow you're supporting zionism and Israel, this is why Iraq and many other mid-eastern countries had it banned, so I think what the guy is trying to indicate in the cartoon is that the Nationalists or the opposition are pro-Israel, atleast i think this is what I got from the cartoon, but this may not be the case.

You should consider who drew this cartoon.  This Saman character is another PCB (Palestine Chest Beater).  I think he lives in Lebanon or somewhere in that region. So, take whatever he writes or draws with a grain of salt.

Shouldn't it be the other

by jamh on

Shouldn't it be the other way? The King holding Coke?

hamsade ghadimi

the difference between

by hamsade ghadimi on

the difference between nationalists and islamists doesn't come down to 'taste.'  the difference is much deeper and about justice and fairness for the iranian people.  one has to distinguish the difference between 'taste' and 'belief.'  if the persian in the cartoon was holding cyrus's cylinder and the arab was holding the qoran, the cartoon would've had more meaning to me.

he is better off with Sobhan or Salman

than pretending to be a "hip" clueless saman. Yet judging from the characters last comments & works i,m not surprised.

So he got a cheap laugh with his clueless sketch!. Now what?. Bashed pre ommatie Iran's icons of kiaan, now what?. I bet the "mini Salman" clown hasn,t even read one page about the era he so ignorantly ridicules. I bet he is a product/victim of "its friday night in Qom" sermons on shaikh tv, perroting lefties/ommaties misinfo on ancient Iran. Comparing kiaan vs ommatestan is like Comparing an "ass" with an "assbb" or comparing this dopey sketch vs ..... .

if only tasteless ommatie baffoonery was a commodity, JJ's collection of arabo ommatie con artists wouldhit jackpot ;:)).

Cheers not!!!

Very funny... + Iraniandudeee,

by Arthimis on

Dude,

"Pepsi, The taste of NEW generation" ... Get it? :-)

That's what this cartoon is simply about . Now if you want to twist the whole story and suggest who are really the makers of Coke and Pepsi, well that's a different story and whatever..................

So, I do agree with the comment by farrad02. Let's not bring Israel and Palestine and everybody else in! Shall we? :-)

What is the connection between this cartoon and Israel? Did I miss something?

Iraniandudeee

Nice but...

by Iraniandudeee on

Most Iranians aren't supporting israel nor do we hate it at the same time, so us being on the pepsi side is wrong. the Persian man should have a doogh in his hand :-D
