Messages of sympathy for the victims of the September 11, 2001, tragedy. Send yours here.

* Dear America,

You are more beautiful than ever before and we can only love you more than ever before and we can appreciate the freedom you have given us more than ever before. Iranians know very well what it is like to be attacked by barbarians. Be strong and be American.

The most beautiful thing about America are the people. The spirit of these people will always be under attack. But be proud and remember these are the same people who freed Europe, ended WW II and sent Hitler to his grave, sent a man to the moon, protected the Moslems in Bosnia and who ended the communism.

I know someday you be walking over the terrorism's grave as well. I hope some day Iranians in Iran can openly practice and show their love affair with America and the American people.

Thanks for 22 beautiful years in your arms.

Your Servant,

Nader

* As a proud Iranian American, I would like to express my deepest sympathy and sadness for the tragic events of September 11th tragedy that destroyed the lives and families of many good people. The whole world needs to stand united against these kinds of barbaric acts, and insure that this never happens again in the future.

It's a requirement for every human being, to raise his or her voice to condemn this horrific event and be part of the war against terrorisim. This is not going to be a war between the world and muslims, This is a war among civilized people against evil.

God bless our great country, and those who take part in this mission against terrorisim.

Afshin Abdolkarimi

* To the all victims of terror and to those who suffered the violence, to the all American friends who suffered today and those who suffered yesterday. I'd like to dedicate this song by Sade:

Heaven please send to all mankind,
Understanding and peace of mind.
But, if it's not asking too much
Please send me someone to love.
Show all the world how to get along,
Peace will enter when hate is gone.
But, if it's not asking too much,
Please send me someone to love.
I lay awake night and ponder world troubles.
My answer is always the same.
That unless men put an end to all of this,
Hate will put the world in a flame, oh what a shame.
Just because I'm in misery.
I'm not begging for no sympathy.
But if it's not asking too much,
Just send me someone to love.
Heaven please send to all mankind,
Understanding and peace of mind.
But if it's not asking too much,
Please send me someone to love.

May peace be with you.

* As a proud Iranian American, my family and I wish to join every civilized, free-thinking human being today in strongly condemning this cowardly, shameful, and cold blooded mass murder of Mongol proportions.

We stand steadfastly by the victims, their families, and the entire civilized world in wishing them our deepest condolences, and expressing our solidarity. We mourn the tragic loss of thousands of innocent, decent, hard working human beings from dozens of countries, including Muslims. Let there be no doubt: the free people in this world will NOT be intimidated by such madness, and no God in any religion teaches such cowardly acts in any name.

The terrorists have no honor and are cowards. They not only hurt their direct victims, but also those they claim to be defending. This tragedy has not only hurt America, but will hurt the interest of every Muslim, Arab, and Palestinian now and for generations to come. These criminals hide behind everything they can- God, religion, innocent civilians, etc., but there is no escape from justice for them anymore.

We Iranians are victims of such barbarism ourselves, whether from Saddam's terrorist army or from our own government. We sincerely share your pain, and stand together with you determined to defend freedom and defeat this terrorist beast, which is the greatest enemy of humanity today. With our collective efforts, humanity and freedom will prevail over this menace.

Sincerely,

Farshid

* Our crystal tears now fall upon the ashes, but from the dust shall grow a new spirit, to be one in compassion for those who are lost, and one in determination to break those who dare test our resolve to be free...

* As I watched in horror on Tuesday, September 11, shock and unusual anger drenched in a feeling of revengefulness consumed my consciousness. The terror was not only against America, it was against humanity, committed by HATE.

I offer my condolences to all those who lost loved ones and those who were touched by the event, be it American, or a citizen of the world.

Hooshang Eimen

* Dear Fellow Americans,

I would like to offer my deepest condolences & sympathy to American nation & the families of the victims of this cowardly act of terrorism. I am still in shock & can not explain how I feel. Last week's attack was an attack to humanity.

My prayers goes to the families of the victims & the American nation.

God Bless,

Mitra Juarez

* As I watched the news on tuesday morning I couldnt believe my eyes. My heart goes out to all the family and friends of people lost and hurt in this tragedy. Many children lost their parents and many families lost children, husband, wife, sibilings and their life will never be the same. In one moment their whole life was changed, I hope they will get through it.

Sondra Sehdeh

* Words can not express the pain we feel as human beings that accidentally were born on that part of the world. We share the pain & sorrows of the people of New York, this a human tragedy God help all of us.

Farideh Seihoun

* Dear American people,

With a heart filled with sorrow I send this message of sympathy. I am so sorry for your losses, which is the loss to all humanity. The loss of so many precious lives, the loss of trust and peace.

I stand by you and understand your pain. As Iranians we all understand the pain of such crimes and terrible acts of horror against innocent civilian people. During the final year of Iran-Iraq war, Iraqi war planes indiscriminately bombed the Iranian cities, aiming at crowds of civilian people, such as markets, swimming pools, bakeries etc. Hundreds of thousands of innocent civilian people died in acts of cowardly criminal attacks. We know the pain you feel.

It is heart warming to see the overwhelming response from all corners of the world against the recent criminal acts in the US. Let's hope it shows the maturity of the human beings around the world to recognise such cruelties and crimes, while they totally ignored those endured by Iranians just a years ago.

Kind regards,

Javan Barzakhi

* I am greatly saddened at the loss of human lives involved in the recent attacks in NY and Washington, DC. I know that many of my people have been affected directly or indirectly, and my best wishes and heartfelt condolences go out to them, as they do to the many heroes working to recover from the incident. I also am sure that some of our own fellow Iranian are undoubtedly involved, either as victims or as volunteers. My thoughts and prayers go out to those facing this tragedy. Again I am deeply saddened by the loss of lives and the injury to innocent people. My deepest sympathy to all that have been affected by these terrorist acts.

Nasrin

* I would like to show by this letter, my deepest sympathy to all American, and all those who are touched by this barbaric act, which indeed was an insult to all human beings. May we all live to a day which all human beings live in peace.

Mohammad Komeilain

* I am anguished and horrified because of this terrible human tragedy that happen last week in NY city, and I read many prayers alone and along with my members of my community, and thought I may share it with you all and ask if you can meditate, focus on it and possibly share it with your friends and loved ones.

Thanks,

Farzad

* You lost your friends, families, colleagues, but you are not alone. You have so many unknown friends all over the world who share your sadness, who are ready to take your shaky hands, to listen to you, to hug you, to cry with you:

Hezaar doshmanam ar mikonnad ghasde halaak
Garam to doosti az doshmanaan nadaaram baak
(
Though a thousand enemies are set on my destruction
With you as a friend I have no fear of enemies.)

Shirin Vazin

* I would like to show by this letter, my deepest sympathy to all American, and all those who are touched by this barbaric act, which indeed was an insult to all human beings. May we all live to a day which all human beings live in peace.

Mohammad Komeilain

* I would like to take this opportunity to extend my condolences to the American nation, the families of the victims of this cowardly act of terrorism. We (human beings) are all brothers and sisters with different colors, religions and nationalities and there is no difference between my Iranian and American fellows. There is no doubt that those who are responsible for this horrible act, should be punished and these tragic events should not happen again not to any country of the world. We must show that although our hearts are broken but we are strong enough to be patient. Just because we want to find out who are the real people behind this act and we will not take our anger out on some other innocent people which will cause our souls to suffer as well. May the souls of the victims rest in peace and wish the families, friends and colleagues of those lost and loved ones be blessed with patience. God bless the American people and please be assured that we are praying for the souls of the loved ones and we are with you all the way. We are offended as much as you are. Because this act was an insult to the freedom of human beings.

Yours with love

* This is something that's so tragic, it is hard to comprehend. all the lives that have been lost...

I pray... for people who lost their loved ones, for light to be shed in hearts of those children celebrating the slaughter of innocent people and to grow up to be wiser, and I pray that everyone in the world view all people as human beings, regardless of what flag they are under.

and I grieve... and I cry.

I wish to extend my sympathy to all those people who lost their loved ones in this horrible tragedy and my heart aches for those who were taken.

* I pray that the victims of this great tragedy "shall not have died in vain" and that their sacrifices shall help eradicate hatered and bring peace, tolerance and respect for coexistnce in the new world order. Amen.

* To My Fellow Americans,

I would first like to express my deepest sympathy to all the families involved in the horrible tragedy of Tuesday's attacks. I think it is important to realize that not only does Islam condemn such terrorist attacks, but does not stand for violence committed against innocent civilians.

When I was awoken Tuesday morning, I was awoken with the sad news that a plane had hit the World Trade Center. Make no mistake that at that point in time, all Americans shared the same feelings all at the same time. We were hurt, mad, confused, and ready to find out who would commit such a criminal act against us.

I think it is imperative for all Iranians to stand together and make sure that this sort of thing does not ever happen again. It is sad to think that it takes an attack of this calibur for us to finally commence war against terrorism.

Once again, my thoughts and prayers go out to the families unecessarily stripped away from their family members. Peace, and God Bless us all.

Ossin

* Our deepest sorrow to our American friends for the loss of so many innocent people. This was a great loss to humanity.

God Bless,

Mehdi Tavakolian

* I remember vividly the day I announced my allegiance to the U.S. as a newly sworn citizen. I was not paying simple lip-service when I uttered those words in the citizenship ceremony. I meant it with all my heart. I will thus take up arms against our enemies whomever they may be with one obvious exception. The Iranian people.

As a neutralized American of Iranian decent, and as a peace loving member of the world community, I feel deep resent and anguish towards those criminals who committed this unforgivable act of violence. I send out my condolences to all those innocent people's families who have lost loved ones at the WTC and elsewhere.

My condolences go out to all of humanity regardless of color, creed, or national origin.

Proud to be American,
Proud to be Iranian
Proud of my country
Proud of my heritage.

Deepest condolences to all,

Zoubin Zaeri

* My family and I would like to send our deepest condolences and sympathies to all the victims and families who have suffered the loss of loved ones in this tragedy. I pray that God grant them strength and patience to endure the tremendous pain. I hope this tragedy brings people closer together, regardless of race, color and religion and makes us kinder and respectful towards one another. Because kindness is the only language heard by the deaf and seen by the blind. Humanity will prevail.

God Bless

Parisa Eslamifar and family

* Suddenly, the blue sky of New York turned black. Since then, the world has been crying for those New Yorkers, tourists, firefighters and police who did not go home that evening, and mourned for those, who on Tuesday September 11, their seat at the dining table remained empty and the lights in their room will never turned on again. We mourn for those kids who will never see their father, mother or both.

This was an act against humanity and an experience so painful that should never happen again. Let us hope that one day soon, we all live a world clear of terrorist groups and rouge regimes that murder the people in their own home.

Abbas Atrvash

* Dear Americans,

As a human being I feel trible about this mass slaughter caused by terrorism. I send you my best sympathy and condolences.

For me it is a loss and whoever did this must be punished as hard as possible. The U.S. is the ultimate power in the world and she is capeble of protecting herself. But please do not make a mistake in this process. I am sure that as hard working Americans you could get over it, and make a better America for everybody in the world.

Best Wishes,

Peyman Pezeshki

* It is such a sad day for all the freedom loving people on the face of the earth. I and my family extend our deepest sorrows to the American people and to all my American families and to our global families who have been touched by this senseless act.

Freedom shall be victorious and I and my families will assist in anyway possible if needed, to help to remove these forces of evil from our global life . We shall never stop our effort till these unfit forces have been eradicated from our civilization for ever.

I have great hope that good will come out of this for all the freedom loving peoples on the face of our globe. We shall win, we have paid a heavy price for freedom for long, the hour has come to unit with each other all over the globe with America to defeat and eradicate these forces of evil.

My God bless all who help us in this hour of need to unit and eradicate for ever this cancerous source from our civilizations. Our deepest sorrows goes to all the families of the deceases, and to those who will give their lives to defend the freedom in days to come.

The hour has come to united and defend freedom for our global families and our countries and unit with American people to defeat it for ever, for ever. I ma ready to die to defend freedom with our American families.

May God help us all, where a day would come that we can build upon this date to build our global solidarity together in order to build a future and a safe global community, free of terror, where we all can protect our fragile earth and look for the stars and explore them for our global village and for our global freedom.

Good shall come out of this, with love

* As many have expressed before me, words can not describe the heart felt sorrow and sympathy endured for the past few days. I am not physically able to volunteer to help out the wounded and since I am a cancer patient and have hepatitis can not even give blood. My tears seem not to be enough to relieve me from the anguish of this sorrow.

What a waste. I only pray for those who have suffered the loss of the love ones to gain strength to endure the enormous pain.

God Bless America, my new home.

Fatima Farideh Nedjat
