Bavafa jaan happy belated Norooz to you and your family as well!
by Esfand Aashena on Mon Mar 28, 2011 09:52 AM PDTThese videos are on Iranian satellite TVs which I don't have either.
However, if you have regular TV you could've been able to watch some mamasitas shake their bootys with your weekend mornings coffee!
Everything is sacred
Esfand jaan: First happy belated Norooz to you and your family
by Bavafa on Mon Mar 28, 2011 09:25 AM PDTAlso, as you might know, I don't [happily] have a TV so quite oblivious about any of these show/programs. I was just trying to stupidly be funny about this. However, watching these reaffirms my decision in killing my TV.

by ali_aaa on Mon Mar 28, 2011 06:23 AM PDTParis Hilton and Borat in Playboy mansion. Giddy up.
Bavafa jaan there are plenty of videos and songs like these.
by Esfand Aashena on Mon Mar 28, 2011 06:05 AM PDTIf you watch the Spanish show Caliente you'll see the same type of videos except they also dance to the video live! You can still watch them Saturday or Sunday mornings if you don't have kids at home watching the weekend kids shows!
The point is which Iranian goes to these places and dances and sings Iranian?! Even the Iranians who go and dance to these music don't dance or sing Iranian! They do it in other languages!
The only thing Iranian about this video is the lip service!
Everything is sacred

most likely because ....
If they could find any other audience that was willing to listen to them, they would be singing in their language.

I don't understand why they and other similar "artists" insist to sing Iranian?!
Everything is sacred

by comments on Sun Mar 27, 2011 04:55 PM PDTThere is always a reason for trends in fashion and make ups. You should have noticed that the fashion of Iranians come from inside the Iran not on the other way. For example, I think a strong make up is because girls want to look older and fit to the society. Also, they look less friendly with a strong make up. Females who live in Iran are kind of too aggressive in public because they have to be; otherwise they get harrased. I don't know what's behind being blondy, but I believe there is a reason. Beauty can't be the reason because blond doesn't match white-brownish skin colors. Just an idea. How smart am I :)
Where does the money come from?
by comments on Sun Mar 27, 2011 04:45 PM PDTWhat is the source of funding for this types of Iranian music?
