Iranian of the Day

Nathalie Nahai was born in London to a half Iranian/half French mother, and Gibraltarian father. Having been classically trained in violin and self-taught on guitar (which led to a rather unique plucking style), she writes her own music and has been performing in the UK and US for the past three years, both solo and with her band. Whilst studying at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (London), Nathalie traveled to the States to record her debut album with multi-platinum Grammy award winning producer Don McCollister. It was released in 2006 on her own label, Fuzzy Muskrat Records (FMR), and received critical acclaim. In 2007, Nathalie performed to packed houses in her first UK tour, and returned to the US to record her second album. "Fortune Teller" was released, again on her own label, in August this year, and Nathalie's next London gig is on November 11th at The Big Chill House. >>> nathalienahai.com
