On the 1st day of Ordibehesht 1387, my parents, Nahid and Nosratollah Amini have been married for 63 years. They were married in the town of Khomein. They are still alive and kicking! And I am so grateful to have them around!

May God Bless Them. and about Khomein; Back in the days; we (all cousins and grandparents_) would spend a couple of weeks in Khomein and vicinity. (tiny villages) . I never thought anyone else would declare anything about Khomein since it is associated with Khomeini. Yet, reallly Khomein and vicinity had natural beauty and I really had good memories from the town(well I would have like to go to Europe!!!but you know it was harvest time and I guess they had to be there) Wish my father was alive:(
Your parents look great.
Best wishes

Disclaimer
by Haj Seyd Javadi Jr (not verified) on Sat Apr 26, 2008 08:22 AM CDT"They were married in the town of Khomein. "
I hereby declare, on behalf my father who the first Scretary of Internal Affairs in Khomeini's government, that the appointment of Mr Amini in the first revolutionary government of Khomeini, under Mehdi Bazargan had nothing to do with the marriage of this lovely couple in the town of Khomein.
Mr and Mrs Amini had a long dynastic association with this town. The fact that Imam Khomeini was born there was a matter of pure accident.
Long Live Amini-Khomeini partnership.
Congrats Fariba Jan

Nosratollah Khaaneh Amini
by Ali P. on Fri Apr 25, 2008 03:57 PM CDTAnd if I am not mistaken, he just happened to be a close confidant, and personal attorney of Dr. Mossadegh; former Teheran mayor, former Grovenor (of Fars?), and one of the last few men remaining of Oil nationalization era.
May God bless him.
Thanks for posting this. Would love to see some of his pictures from that era.
That is Fantastic
