You guys ROCK!

by Amu S (not verified) on

I love the music, very original and different from the non-sense that we hear everyday from Los Angels persian singers! Keep up the good work...

How silly to dismiss something we dont get?

by ay_nak (not verified) on

Obviously when it comes to art, people have difference in tastes. But what separates valid criticism from a nag is if it is understood and properly criticised. I doubt if you even listned to the very powerful lyrics and then saw the connection between the song and the video, unless you don't understand what Cheezy means. Here I write my translation which obviously loses some great flow in Persian, but still as powerful, I put the video scene inside parenthesese to see that is very well put together as simple as it is:

Lyrics:

Lalalala ... (dead body uncoverd)
I remember the day
I was stinking on a bed at the mortuary!! (Dead rising)
I was being messaged I knew what has happened, I could no longer move, my life had come to an end!!

It make no difference to them, my life or death still they are banging their heads (the lead singer is banging his head) to fake their love for me.

But I am free, free from all the pains!! (Lead singer is running away as he says he is free from it all)

From all those pretentions I am free.

Here --Death!!, it is full of honesy and life is comfortable, no one can say love is just a habbit!
===================================

In this somewhat minimalist song, these kids have managed to convey and share so much of their feelings with us and so beautifully.

It is original, it is thoughtful, it is very very sad.

So much visual pretention, and everybody has gone "GAGA"

They are so alienated,
Oh my god,
how touching,
So much pain, how can they endure all these hardship?
These guys are so predictable and cheesy.
Grow up please........

I had seen this a while back

by azadi 5 (not verified) on

I had seen this a while back on Youtube. It's great to see different genre of music flourish in Iran, alas underground. There are Iranian rap, rock, heavy metal, and techno songs and bands on Youtube. Some of them are pretty good too. You'll be surprised at the volume of them too.

Truly original. Someone in Iranian music finally woke up to self expression, without prohibition.

:-(

by Ali P. on

This Party Girl usually has good stuff up, but today, the screen went dark and all I saw is the statement:"We're sorry. This video is no longer available".

Which entices me even more as to find out what it was...  :-)
