"The only female firefighter unit in Middle East"

IRI Propaganda

by Kaveh Nouraee on

These women are performing a difficult and dangerous job, and are putting their lives at risk every time the alarm bell rings. They deserve everyone's respect. They certainly have mine.

Unfortunately, at the same time, they are being used by the IRI in a shameless manner. I don't know what's worse: the fact that they're being used, or the fact that the IRI thinks people are so stupid not to see through their cheap propaganda.

You know what........

by Nadias on

we know there still needs more improvement in regards to women's rights in Iran. The comments that some of us made on this thread are not political.

Our comments are for the women. We are in fact happy and encouraging the actual women on the video for their bravery and hard work.

Pure Propaganda

by Arash Kamangir (not verified) on

This women firefighter unit is the only female firefighting unit in the whole Iran and will stay the only one because it is for propaganda purposes to show how progressive the regime is!! It is sad to see that many of those who have sent comments regarding this have not understood this and of course their Dozary will never clicks in either! March on Mullahs!

Well done but...

by ramintork on

It is mad that they can rescue lives but can not go and see a live football match.

I'm guessing that this "shol kon seft kon" of regime and these kind of propoganda reports are an attempt to dampen women's campaign i.e. this is saying "hey look it is not as bad as you think for Iranian women". You can't have a system where you have a progressive change like this today and a red pencil crossing it out the next day. Have you not forgotten a deceiver called Khatami?

Nevertheless, Well done for their bravery.

This is what makes Iranian different and unique in the region if not the world. All we need is a good and honest management.

Drood bar all Persian women. They are the best in the world.

Kamangir

I'm proud of them!

by Kamangir on

Thanks very much for sharing this with us. I'm very glad to see these fellow-Iranian women doing the job they like. I'm very proud of them.

People tend to forget the level of sofistication Persian women had in the history, Pourandokht, Irandokht, Artimisa and many other Persian women, actually led and had very high responsabilities. No even the ideology of darkness and backwardness has so far managed to subdue our women.

You are firefighters and at the same time Mullahsfighters. Kick Mullahs A**** anytime and anywhere you can. Iranian men are bee bokaar(Lazy and indifferent to the sufferings of others)but you(Iranian women)will soon send all Mullahs to hell.

Iranians Rule!

by IRANdokht on

they can't make another Saudi Arabia out of Iran. Not only because of the brave Iranian women who have been resisting and fighting for 30 years, but also because Iranian men support them in their effort.

(I think Majid is going too far in that support though LOL)

I was going to ask what happens if a man is in danger.... then I realized all this time the male firefighters have been saving everyone and even provide first aid help, so I guess there must have been a fatva about such cases of emergency somewhere...

LOL, without hejab would be perfect

by Arayan (not verified) on

Iranian women will find thier appropriate place and real value in Iranian society. In ancient Iran(Persia) were no difference between women and men in regard of their rights. The unequality was the gift presented by the Islam(koran) to Iranian women.
