To Saeed Sjoja
by Anonymous32 (not verified) on Sun Oct 12, 2008 02:49 PM PDTDear Saeed
Farsi is the local name of Persian. As Nihon is the local name of Japan or Hindustan the local name of India.
In international language, Persian, represents the official language of Iran not Farsi. This is a mistake to replace a well-known international name with its local one and disconnect it from its roots. As lots of people do it back in Iran by calling Turkish language, Azeri, and create a new born language and disconnect it from its roots and history.
Shame on our westernized parents
by Anonymous critic (not verified) on Sun Oct 12, 2008 02:00 AM PDTIf a Japanese girl, born to Japanese parents, can speak Farsi so beautifully, considering the two languages being polar opposite of one another, what excuse do the children born to Iranian parents could possibely have to not speak, read and write in their parents language. Those parents who watched this video and have alienated their children from their mother tongue should sink their heads in shame.
Farsi
