His name does not sound Jewish

by Alborzi (not verified) on

His admission might have been gotten under torture (thats legal now adays), he might be a poor guy who admitted to spying after water boarding ( the technology is there too). Only god know the truth, hopefully his life will be spared. On the other hand its clear that spies are being sent to Iran. As they say just because IRI is stupid does not mean that there is no plot.

Don't kill him

by Hajminator on

IRI spies have recently been captured in Koweit and Israel so if mullahs play the spy-game they have to admit that other countries could also.

and how is it in other countries? IN the united states all top reportes has to undergo informational education and work up to rule giving them from CIA. CNN for example is directed directly by CIA. In the Islamic republic of Iran abilities allone does not count. One must be present by daily woreships and on Freidays in the University. That makes the difference. In western countries is beinran one must be first a believer.

The guy have been working closely with this regime supplying them with all sort of hardware and sensetive stuff. who but some one who is within a circle can get a job like that? then he risks it all for lousy 50K to become an spy! his mistake was, either he was not top of a food chain so he became scapegoat or he didn't bend over enough for these guys. These show trials which started all in 1979, reminds of you stalinist trails in russia, case closed, now go hang him!

Poor bastard

It is always the little guy that pays for the crimes of the big criminals. IRI should just publicly forgive the guy and let him go. What is to be accomplished by taking his life?

Then must be punished, and the punishment is death. No selling out our secrets, that's the way it is in every country.
Unlike the US, Iran has no reason to mess with others or citizens.

Obvious Stalinist tactics

Another inside war between Islamists in charge, conveniently linked to Jews and Israel for propaganda purposes.

Something very relevant to all this:

Isn't it too much of a coincidence

by John Carpenter III (not verified) on

I recall the Shirazi Jews that were brought up on charges of spying for Israel. What happened to them? They were given Kosher Chelo Kabobs daily and were stored at a 5 star hotel. A little while later they were pardoned by Ayat'Allah Syed Ali Khamenei.

Who knows what Israel did? They probably gave Iran free blue prints on how to make a nuclear reactor which will produce energy to heat the regular Iranians house.

And what will happen to this guy eventually? He will get Chelo Kabobs and in time he will be pardoned. What will Israel do? It will cease to attack Iran on it's nuclear energy topic and will help Iran complete the project, Israel will then release all political prisoners like Hamas, Hizb'Allah and Islamic Jihad it holds in its jails.

Israel will then make peace with the Palestinians, Lebanese and the Syrians.

Spy for Israel, not....

by ebi amirhosseini on

The guy is Iranian!!,or he holds an Israeli passport that we aren't aware of!?.He is one of their own "Aaghaazadeh" bunch, since he was the one, providing government with high tech equipments & was a trusted " Mohreh ".In any case he is just a scapegoat & doesn't deserve death sentence.
