Much that I hate to say it

but the IRNA's female news readers or presenters are a head and shoulder above these jokers, professionally as well as presentationally. If only you could imagine them without their Islamic veils.

not funny

Funny??? On the contrary, she seems kinda "khashen" and irritated to me. Not a very professional conduct. Looks very "talab-kaar".... boro haji ki hoselato dareh!

take it easy on the new girl

by ramintork on

If you were new to reading the news and just finished your delivery and then thought you were off camera you might do the same.

There are regular blooper shows and they contain well known TV presenters doing the same.

I've pulled one or two funny faces after a tough interview or presentation it is what a lot of people do as a sigh of relief.

I like VOA's cultural programs they do have some good people, and compared to the quality of most Iranian Satellite TVs they are watchable.

because she is Real

she has pleasant voice and flawless articulation, she is sweet, I think her occasional bloopers make her more interesting. She is a lot more likable than her counterparts in IRI TV networks that act and sound so fake.

Party Girl

A Bad Air Day

by Party Girl on

Ay Baaba, give her a break!  Everyone makes mistakes, but not too many while on the air.  She was just having a "Bad Air Day!"  I have seen worse before.  At least she seems genuinely embarrassed for her mistake.  She has some colleagues in the Farsi-speaking media outside Iran, VOA included, who would not even know when they have made a mistake.  Of course, IRIB anchormen/women have their own share of bad air days, too!  Watch this:  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zly2KR_3ijM&feature=related

Good For Her!!!

Viewers don't take VOA seriously.

Now we know employees don't either!!

Well, at least everyone's on the same page!!
