Ally Bolour
Attorney Ally Bolour is profiled in this month's Immigration Law Today (a publication of the American Immigration Lawyers Association) because of all the pro bono work he does. The magazine is not available online but his resume and photo is available on his website. And for the conspiracy theorists/bitter cynics out there, no, I am in no way shape or form related or even friends with the guy. I don't know him. I have never so much as bumped into him in court or at the local chelo-kababi. I just heard of this through the Los Angeles Bar Association listserve, immigration section and I thought "Cool!!!" Pro bono work is something I take very seriously, especially when it comes to the immigrant community who are high on needs and low on funds.
