After a long break since the release of his first two internet-only indie albums ("Inside Out" in 1999 and "Can't Stop Wondering" in 2000) through mp3.com, his third and latest album "Somewhere Between Hope & Despair", released in December 2008, is a collection of his most recent recordings that feature well-crafted songs with very catchy melodies and meaningful lyrics.
There are 11 tracks on the album all produced using delicate production techniques with careful layering of vocals, strings, keyboards, horns, and rock instruments. The albums is available for purchase online at CDBaby.com (http://cdbaby.com/cd/chordaholic) and also available to download at iTunes (http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?id=302118592&s=143441)
One of the tracks on the album titled "Butterflies" features collaborations with musician friend Arash Sobhani of Kiosk (www.kiosk-music.com).
The following are snippets of some of the reviews received on the song “A Reason and a Rhyme” from random listeners as collected by the unique online song review process at garageband.com:
"Art, Craft, Science & Magic, search for the middle ground if you will, it is not to be found here. Fantastic song, quietly meandering through its layerings as it progresses to an impressively restrained climax."
-Listener from New South Wales, Australia
"Very catchy. Good hook. Sweetness. I'm lovin' the mood on this."
-Listener from Rocky Mount, Virginia
