Iran's parliament said Wednesday it was preparing a bill that would prohibit all foreign warships from entering the Persian Gulf unless they received permission from the Iranian navy.
The bill, disclosed by the the semiofficial Fars News Agency, surfaced a day after Iran’s armed forces commander warned a U.S. nuclear-powered aircraft carrier not to return to the gulf, remarks that rattled commodities markets and helped drive up oil prices.

Treacherous Parliament
by divaneh on Wed Jan 04, 2012 04:51 PM PSTIt will be the greatest treachery by the parliament to engage Iran in such unequal and unnecessary war, just in order to lengthen the miser existence of the IRI. Those smelly Pashmalis are of course anything but representatives of the people.
No question about it
by azadi5 on Wed Jan 04, 2012 04:19 PM PSTIRI needs a war to survive, or so that's what they think. They are so divided right now that they hope that creating a sense of urgency will unite everyone to fight for them and forget about every other problem they are facing, but I seriously doubt that people will unite to defend this IRI's agenda. If people actually unite and put up a fight, I'm pretty sure Iran will become a militrilized country like that of North Korea, with them considering everyone their enemy. But I think Iranian people within Iran and outside are in a better position to not let that happen. Time will tell.

Where are all the IRI Defenders?
by Artificial Intelligence on Wed Jan 04, 2012 01:05 PM PSTIn the last few weeks we have seen many instances of muscle flexing by the IRI. IRI is now cornered. No Syria, which means no Lebanon & Hezbollah eventually. All these weapons sales to its enemies around the Gulf and crippling sanctions!
These lunatics are looking for a fight. Something is going on and the slightest mistake will trigger a confrontation. If there is such a confrontation, I do not think the US will hold back. They will go after all IRI assets (which is not much) including nuclear sites and its leadership.
Just imagine what they would do if they really had a nuke weapon?
IR Loonies Need Yet Another War!
by G. Rahmanian on Wed Jan 04, 2012 12:57 PM PSTIR Loonies Need Yet Another War, I mean another "blessing" to survive a little longer, and they cannot have one, so they are getting restless making all kinds of declarations!!!
