Stop Fundamentalism, 3 September 2011 – According to sources inside Iran large number of demonstrators turned out today in the northern cities of Orumieh and Tabriz in Iran chanting anti Iranian government slogans.

Heavy clashes between demonstrators and government agents have been reported in both cities.

There have been numerous reports of disruptions in these cities with people protesting governments conduct with preserving Lake Orumieh in that region.  The lake, one of the biggest lakes in the world is popular for its salting water.

The region in Iran is populated with Azari speaking Iranians.

Reports indicate that the protesters came out today in support of the city’s Bazar in Orumieh as it was attacked by government forces.

Orumieh Lake demonstrations gather momentum

But can these protests save Lake Urumiyeh? The IR Terror Regime still does not take emergency action to replenish the lake. Still no word on the matter from the illegal Terrorist president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. Cement factories and dams still being built sucking up water reducing it to salt.
