Dear MG, I have to read Hadi's blog
by Anahid Hojjati on Mon Jul 11, 2011 02:36 PM PDTThanks for letting me know. I have not read that blog yet. I will read.

by Mash Ghasem on Mon Jul 11, 2011 10:48 PM PDTProf. : "Masjid jay gozidn nist" another literary gem, right after "Alat Parishi", quite an event in cyber-lingustics. Framarz jan as they say in Farsi: cheh bagam, hich nagm sangin tareh!
It's a quite complex case of everything and nothing at all.
It is everything in the sense that such sloth in an accumulation and an aggreagte of all the the social (and biological) factors: none of these causes shall be dismissed or underlooked.
And it's nothing at all, if and when, the population is liberated and actually thinking and feeling that they are working towards a brighter future, a future of their own. A liberated atmosphere would make a very big difference. Anywho, I'm trying to put this in as a blog and they're giving poor little me a hard time. Put in a good word for me.
Anahid jan: yes you're correct the average age of workers in US and Europe has increased. This is not necessarily good news and could indicate a weakness fo the labor movement and the worsening economy more than anything else, cheers
P.S. How did you like that Wallacs Steven's poem on Hadi's blog?
P.S.S. May god bless and increase all those forty year young French women, and the way they say Bon Joure (me thinks it's the sexist thing in the world). But Prof. between you and I, and don't mention this to anyone else either, I'm still thinking of that bosom!
I don't know about now
by Anahid Hojjati on Mon Jul 11, 2011 12:21 PM PDTBut I can tell you that among friends and family that I grew up, many were anything but Tanbal. But I think Iranians retire earlier than most in US and may be as retirees, they are not productive at age of 50 while in US many are still working hard at 50 and above.
