Riyadh will build nuclear weapons if Iran gets them, Saudi prince warns

A senior Saudi Arabian diplomat and member of the ruling royal family has raised the spectre of nuclear conflict in the Middle East if Iran comes close to developing a nuclear weapon.

Prince Turki al-Faisal, a former Saudi intelligence chief and ambassador to Washington, warned senior Nato military officials that the existence of such a device "would compel Saudi Arabia … to pursue policies which could lead to untold and possibly dramatic consequences".

He did not state explicitly what these policies would be, but a senior official in Riyadh who is close to the prince said yesterday his message was clear.

"We cannot live in a situation where Iran has nuclear weapons and we don't. It's as simple as that," the official said. "If Iran develops a nuclear weapon, that will be unacceptable to us and we will have to follow suit."

Keep on dreadming.

The dreamer is you bahoosh joon! Al-Quaida is Saudi home grown entity. Most of Saudis Hate the Zio-Terrorists for mny good reasons. From Irans point of view, the more Nukes in the hands of Muslims the better and that makes sense on multitude of levels. The Zionists will be marginalized and pack and leave w/o Nuke monopoly. The other choice will be for the Zionists to totally assimilate to Arabs in which case it means, by and large, no Zio-terrorist entity which is again what Iran wants.

Let all Arabs go nuclear. From Iran point of view, that is all OK! For Zio-Terrorists though, that is a whole different ball game!

A Nuclear Bomb Can Ruin Your Day!

Actually, in my opinion, the more important items that he mentioned in his interview and was published in the Wall Street Journal was that, “Iran is very vulnerable in the oil sector, and it is there that more could be done to squeeze the current government….Saudi Arabia has so much [spare] production capacity—nearly 4 million barrels [per] day—that we could almost instantly replace all of Iran’s oil production” which is what the US has been pushing Saudi Arabia and UAE to do to ensure that the Chinese will have guaranteed oil supply.

This action combined with the current sanctions on the Regime’s ships will guarantee that there will be no buyers for the oil and no way of delivering it to any place in the world. Currently, with Lloyds of London not underwriting the insurance (and other companies had followed), the Regime’s ships cannot enter almost any harbors in the world.

The other item was, Iran’s “meddling and destabilizing efforts in countries with Shiite majorities, such as Iraq and Bahrain, as well as those countries with significant Shiite communities…must come to an end” which means there will be more Saudi funds and continued US presence (permanent bases) in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The nuclear talk is just to hype the situation. The Regime will not go anywhere near a bomb. They have learned their lesson from Pearl Harbor.

A nuclear bomb can ruin your day!

Keep on dreadming.

Riyadh sees the Terror Regime as more of a threat than Israel. Israel will just use this as an excuse to get more money from the US treasury.

As the Saudis said,"Cut the snake's head off" referring to the Islamic Republic.

Israel is the only country enjoying this.

That would be far more dangerous for the Zionists! In fact, if that happens, it will be yet another 'existential threat' nightmare like no other!

Enjoy it!
