Iranian fraudster held

BANGALORE: A 28-year-old Iranian was arrested by JP Nagar police on Tuesday for allegedly cheating students by posing as an education consultant. 

Amin Delgoshaee, the accused, allegedly cheated 15 Iranian students in Bangalore to the tune of Rs 40 lakh. 

Amin stays at JP Nagar 7th Phase. "He came toIndia on a student visa in 2002. A B Pharm graduate himself, he continued stayed on even after his visa expired. Amin started a consultancy firm in Iranafter developing his network in Bangalore. Students who approached him were asked to submit the entire course fee at his office in Iran. When students were made to pay a portion of the fee again at the college they were admitted to, he was exposed.Pharmaceutical students studying at a college in Yelahanka then filed a complaint against him," said police.
