Iran Has Developed New Radar System Capable of Detecting Stealth Aircrafts: Military Official

Hamsayeh.Net - Iranian military official announced Tehran has developed a new radar system capable of detecting modern stealth aircrafts. ‘The Khatam-ol-Anbiya Air Base has the capability of detecting, identifying, pursuing, and targeting any kind of stealth planes and any kind of cruise missiles of the enemy,’ Commander of Khatam-ol-Anbiya Airbase Brigadier General Farzad Ismaili told reporters.

The army officials said for over thirty years, Iranian forces have been on highest state of alert against external threats in particular by the United States and therefore today possesses all necessary capabilities to deal such threats. He also said further sanctions by the United States and its allies will have little negative influence on Iran except making the country even stronger than before.

The US and allies hope imposing economic sanctions on Tehran would pressure the Iranians to accept a total halt of its domestic nuclear program and therefore succumb to Western demands on major international issues particularly related to energy safety and supply.

Historically, the West has always been heavily dependent on Middle Eastern oil supply and the US dollar as world’s main reserve currency can be measured in terms of how much oil is available in the global market.
