A TERROR gang tortured and hanged a peace campaigner just hours after he was kidnapped, it emerged yesterday. Cops in Gaza City found the body of Italian activist Vittorio Arrigon in an abandoned flat. He was killed by a small group of Islamic extremists who have close links to al-Qaeda. It is the first kidnapping of a foreigner since Hamas overran the Palestinian land nearly four years ago. Last night, the Italian government said the killing was a "barbaric murder" and a "vile and irrational gesture of violence on the part of extremists indifferent to the value of a human life"
