Senegal cuts ties with Iran over weapons shipment

Senegal said Wednesday it will cut diplomatic ties with Iran after an investigation that showed that a seized Iranian arms shipment was intended for rebels fighting Senegalese troops.

The move is the latest escalation between the Senegalese government and Iran. The arms shipment was discovered in Nigeria in October. When an investigation showed the arms were bound for Gambia-based rebels who have previously attacked Senegalese soldiers, Senegal pulled its ambassador from Iran.

Thank you, IranFirst, for the article link!
IRI's claws have reached Africa! On one hand, IRI executes the so-called "Kurdish separatists" in Iran, on the other hand, it arms and sponsors separatist group in Africa! I have not figured out why IRI supports this particular group, Wiki did not say this group is Islamic!

not important

in reality if you read iranian/turkish news you would know the details that turkey has communicated the issue as a middle country and it's no biggie. watch how it will be fixed in the coming mounts if not weeks. sorry to crash your party!!!
why is it that you seem to enjoy all the negative news about iran? is this balanced? think about it. if someone was only interested in negative news about my country, i would be suspicious in their agenda.
