The war recovery?

Here is where Obama is likely to prevail. With strong Republican support in Congress for challenging Iran's ambition to become a nuclear power, he can spend much of 2011 and 2012 orchestrating a showdown with the mullahs. This will help him politically because the opposition party will be urging him on. And as tensions rise and we accelerate preparations for war, the economy will improve.

War with Iran, good for the Economy

by Asghar_Massombagi on

The moral bankruptcy of American mainstream media is not news but open advocacy of war that will result in countless deaths and massive destruction is still galling when it appears in an allegedly respectful newspaper like the Post.  What is hilarious is that after enumerating the benefits (reelection for Obama, economic regeneration for the US, milk and honey flowing in street gutters bordering the NY stock Exchange) of a conflict with Iran, Broder chicken-shits in the end: "I am not suggesting, of course, that the president incite a war to get reelected."  No, you just highly recommend it. Mind you, the credit for this “cunning plan” should go to the pro-Israel witch hunter Daniel Pipes. He first wrote about back a couple of years ago.
