Iran's Minister of Intelligence, Heydar Moslehi denied news concerning arrest of opposition leader's, Mir Hossein Mousavi's bodyguard, Ahmad Yazdanfar.

Yesterday, the opposition website, Kaleme reported that the opposition leader's guard was arrested Monday night by Iranian security officers.

Revolutionary Guards Corps public relations office issued a statement to deny the arrest of Mir Hossein Mousavi's security team leader.

The announcement states: "The said security team leader had reached the end of his mission and has been merely transferred."

According to Kaleme website, Ahmad Yazdanfar was an old member of "Jamaran Guards" who was also highly trusted by the opposition leader, Mir Hossein Mousavi. He has served as the former Prime Minister's bodyguard since the 1980s and was reportedly "the target of tens of terrorist attacks by opposing groups."

Mir Hossein Mousavi who has challenged Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's re-election in the June presidential elections has become one of the prominent spokesmen for the protest movement which has ensued since last June in reaction to allegations of widespread fraud in the elections.

Many of Mousavi's aides are currently in prison and Islamic Republic hardliners repeatedly call for the arrest of the former Prime Minister for fomenting what they describe as a "seditious movement."

Dear IMF,

Thank you for your tireless efforts for posting news.  I have notice when you post news items in the "News Organiazation" and "Author or Reporter" you usually post the name of the news organization, for example for this news you have posted Payvand for both of them.

I have also noticed that these mistakes are usually corrected at a later time when posted news are monitored by the Editor.  I believe you will greatly help the Editor if you enter the author or the reporter's name in the "Author or Reporter" field.  Also that field could be left blank if no name is provided in the orginal report.

Thank you,
