Three Americans jailed in Iran since allegedly straying into the country during a hiking expedition 10 months ago embraced their mothers Thursday in an emotional reunion.

The mothers of Sarah Shourd, 31, Shane Bauer, 27, and Josh Fattal, 27, arrived in Tehran on Wednesday night after they were granted visas to visit their children, who had been accused at various points of trespassing and espionage.

Hi! vildemose,

If US gives the Iranian nuclear scientist back to IRI, he will either go to Evin or be executed for treason.......so I think it is very unlikely that US will meet the IRI's demand......it is a tricky case!

A statement by a poster at huff post

by vildemose on

"The Iranian state is torturing its own citizens, while American moms can fly and sit in a comfortable tent and greet their kids (I'm not saying they are not in pain) but it's very ironic that in my own country (Iran), where the state feeds on animosity with the West, the Americans get special privileges and the Iranians rot in prison cells. Thank you for posting this article! It seems to me IRI wants the defected nuclear scientist back before they release these 3 Americans:
