Night of Solidarity with Imprisoned Journalists in Iran - May 8 in Washington, DC

Iran has been named the worst nightmare to be a Journalist in 2009. As stated by the Committee to Protect Journalists the number of journalists in jail in Iran rose in February as a relentless media crackdown continues in Iran. Authorities are now holding more than 35 journalists in prison, a third of all those in jail around the world. To show our support to our fellow Iranians back home, The Solidarity Committee to protect the Iranian people's Will, is holding a night of solidarity with the Iranian Journalists in jail.
