Iraq inquiry: Britain rejected regime change as illegal in 2001

On its opening day of public hearings, Sir John Chilcot’s public inquiry into the invasion heard that British diplomats heard the “drumbeat” of war emanating from Washington even before the September 11 terrorist attacks.

The inquiry into the war, which cost 179 lives, opened yesterday with a promise from Sir John, a former Whitehall mandarin, to "get to the heart of what happened" and "not shy away" from criticising anyone who made mistakes.

I am glad, immensely, that you and your ilk have realized that there are people like me between YOUR kind and the truth.

Thanks for the compliment, but you really shouldn't have. ;-o)

Capt Ayhab, Until people

by Farhad Kashani on

Capt Ayhab,

Until people like you are here supporting the IRI regime, you can count on me being here to expose you.

Shah Gholam,

The only thing I understood from your usual nonsense is the question. Answer my questions first, and I will answer yours. you know how dumb it is to think everyone who subscribe to a particular religion think exactly the same? But again, what should we expect from an pro IRI, anti American, anti Iranian, Leftist loony.

I am wishing the same for Israel

by Shah Ghollam on

Looks like I pulled you out of the woodwork with this NEWS thread?

captain, there is no surprise there! His dictation is prepared in advance and in Tel Aviv. All he does is copy an paste. Just pay attention next time to his posts.

As for Kashani AKA Timothyfloyed, We Iranians have the same wish for your beloved Israel. We like to see Israel to live in prosperity and Democracy for all by forcefully abolishing Aparthied system in that country just the same as it was forced upon Iraq and Iraqis. I am sure, like Iraqis, you will value the every bit of real Democracy without Aparthied cherishing it after the job done much like Iraqis. I am also sure you Israelis can't wait for that liberation regardless of the cost. After all, if it worked for Iraqis, it will also work for Israelis!!!

-------------- Still awaiting answer ---------------

kashani, what is your religion eventhough as ashamed as you may be for whatever it is! your Iranian brothers and sisters who you beat your chest for need to know this!!!!! This is where you should illustrate you real respect for them.

Some people still live in

by Farhad Kashani on

Some people still live in the era of bashing whom they call as “Neo Cons” and still beat on the conspiracy theory drum not knowing that Iraq has a democracy now, flawed as it may be, but democracy nonetheless, and they charrish what they have, and Iraqis are sacrificing every minute of every single day defending post Saddam Iraq, and what they have achieved, and the new Iraq will become a model for other countries in the region, specially Iran.  And that all, and all happened because of what U.S did. What U.S did, although not executed correctly, led to a new Iraq. Iraqis know it, and people around the world know it.

Thus, what Bush and others have said will, and is, coming true, which is by the way the same about what those “bad” “Neo Cons” said about the Iranian regime and came out true.

Everything they said came out true, and everything IRI apologists, and Bush bashers said came out wrong. What you have to say about that?

Some people who used to be openly IRI supporter, are now, still IRI supporter, but at least not openly anymore. They still bash Israel and still beat on the "bash Bush" drum only and only as a mean to make the IRI regime look good. Its sad that they don't know we know their game.
